I wouldn't mind it if TF felt for it Think I'm on a row now with 5-0-0 from my last five visits, you do the math Next season we'll def have to meet up again, was great fun last time.
Yeah he said so. Congrats on the victory though, 4-2 was it? Next season we'll find an opportunity for sure.
Col- Are you suprised with the British Press ?? I think they take no greater pleasure than slagging us (The club and the fans) off and would love for us to implode. They've been at it all season and until they find someone else to have a go at i guess we are enemy number 1.
Oooooohhhh, tempting... But let's not tempt faith Sparky will do his old master at OT a favour and earn us the precious draw we crave. The R's are staying up!
Apparently the sun and mail said it too which is a complete lie. There was no booing the home side and the only negativity from the home end was to that lazy bastard Zamora.
Aye, Richie Sadlier said it. An ex-Millwall reject who retired through injury in his mid-twenties. Could you get more expert than that? (Although the live game pundits, Giles-Dunphy-Brady, are the best pundits on TV bar none. They tell it how it is.)
Booing the opposition at every touch, tackle and trick. It's worked really well this year, particularly against Chelsea and some of the other big teams who aren't used to fans being so close to the pitch. You could feel the venom being poured out at Chelsea players during our 1-0 victory which helped a great deal. Amusingly, our chairman came out the other day and claimed that our fans are often are 11th man...
There was booing when Barton sent a poor pass into the crowd, fairly central in Elllersley. I hoped the booing was directed at someone else, but it did seem from the tele that it was directed at him, and the Commentator said they were a few booing him and started talking about that he hadn't always been popular this season. But for the most part it seemed fantastic support was given, which the commentators noted many times. When Cisse scored I thought the roof had gone !- it did at my place.
Well Tony Gale was the pundit on Foxtel over here and he loved the atmosphere! He reckoned Loftus Road should be renamed, 'The Bear Pit'. Very complimentary on how the crowd got behind the team and reckoned that it would have been a travesty if Rangers didn't get anything out of the game. Compare these comments to the tool who writes for the Telegraph I guess gives a bit of balance to how the game was seen.
Pretty accurate description I reckon, Tony Gale is one commentator who usually doesn't talk out of his a#se.
Like others who attended and have posted on this thread, I don't understand these comments. The booing was against the incredible time wasting by Stoke which started as early as the twentieth minute and against the ref who let them get away with a series of tackles which, generously, might be called "robust". Stoke battled hard in an attempt to get a point and had some good chances. However, in my view, supported by the match stats, we had more chances and their keeper made a couple of very good saves; whereas I can't recall Paddy having to make a single one. I hope Stoke play as well next week. If they do, Bolton have no chance of getting three points.
