Probably the best kept secret in the cricketing world, but is the any truth that Bopara is engaged to a daughter of one of the selectors in the England set up?

Cause sure as hell he doesn't get his place on merit!
 
I don't think he's had a fair go: he gets picked for a couple of games then dropped then picked then dropped across all formats. I'd keep him in the one day teams but maybe he's not good enough at batting or bowling to be in the test side, still a useful squad player.
