Yes, because Huw/the board allowed them to speak to other clubs. There were no offers at all for Laudrup, so you're talking crap. IF it's true, just tell us what offers he turned down and how you know. You can't because there weren't any offers. By the way, a newspaper saying some club is interested in Laudrup isn't an offer. Apparently we're interested in 10 or so managers, but that doesn't mean we've offered any of them anything. And who told the papers about these offers? Laudrup or his agent? Many players and managers do that just to get a better deal. Doesn't mean it's true.

But let's just wait and see which big clubs gives him a real offer. He must be really happy to leave with so many great offers lined up.

They're all contracted to us, not to worry. Maybe ML will put in a big money bid for Tiendalli when he lands the Inter Milan job? :cheesy:

That's true. But Laudrup didn't have anywhere to go because no-one wanted him. You say they did but refuse to say who. Why won't you say if you're so sure. You're talking a load of bollocks.

I had the gut feeling days ago about Bony leaving , I posted it on the who will leave article and said he would look to get out in the summer , the sports direct article came after ..

Sports Direct has been the source of two stories you or someone else has posted, and both have been bullshit.
 
I have full confidence in Laudrup's team as we move along during these easier times as players return from injury., and have said we would do ok because Laudrup alresdy had his stamp on the team . Huw's perfectly timed " Rug Pull " was done with the fact that he could install anyone and make Laudrup look bad as results started coming . Monk is a puppet " hope his arms don't get hurt ) , using Laudrups team .This is Laudrup season , his FA Cup run , his 2nd round Europa , his players . When the season is over , we will see what happens when we have to re create , who comes who goes . We'll see how Monk does at creating next season , if he even gets the chance . Great win today , I predicted a 3-0 win on the Cardiff board
 
Laudrup's team of the last few months under Laudrup played without passion - Laudrup's team today, under Monk, played with absolute passion. You only had to look at Ash's reaction to the first goal, sprinting towards Monk and giving him a huge bearhug!

Today's performance was a million miles away from the recent performances Laudrup got out of the team! I have the utmost respect for Laudrup and what he achieved with us, but also believe that we would have been relegated if he was still in charge. So many rumours and, as they say - no smoke without fire!

The players were obviously dissatisfied with the training; Laudrup leaving it to Monk and Curt after ten minutes - then giving the players two days off, and going on a two day jolly to Paris after the West Ham debacle! This is what forced the boards hand!

I was absolutely pro Laudrup but found his recent behaviour egregious in the extreme! In my opinion his position was untenable - he had lost the changing room - his inability to sort out the Monk/Chico spat is testament to that.

I will always respect ML for what he achieved with us, but also believe that Huw and co made the right decision with the best interests of the club in mind. If players leave then so be it - we will get other players.
 
The team didn't play without passion the last few months , they played without players , with others filling in valiantly against the toughest of teams . And nothing is obvious cartoon until it is fact. Fact is this is Laudrups team and season , we will see how Monk can care take as tons of talent come back and becomes available , and how much of this talent is available in the summer. I hope it most , I suspect it's not. And Huw , who normally does things for the club , took things personally long before wr got near the bottom from playing tough teams and playing amongst a catastrophic injury scenario
