"slightly worst (sic) news" for Rangel (out for 2-3 weeks) but on last nights evidence we have far better cover for him than for Bony.

I'm not so worried about Rangel as the Bony situation, we have plenty of cover with Tiendalli, Taylor, Jaz, etc!..................<ok>

He's equally important in an attacking sense which Tiendalli or Taylor have not shown to date , Jazz is doing well on loan and would the club call him back (I'd like to see him back personally ) and he's been playing consistently well this season , again theres not many players can say that so far ,

On Bony...a few stats and interpretations that cast a better light on him.

This is copy and pasted from reddit - replies to a comment saying Bony has been underwhelming this season.

"Bony has been rotated far more often than anyone thought, he's been pretty unlucky in games and with picking up knocks, and perhaps most importantly of all Swansea haven't really been giving him very good service. The one game where they truly did was against Stoke and surprise surprise he scored twice."

"He's scored 4 goals in 11 games for a 13th placed team, not bad. Lukaku and Remy are the only players that aren't from City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea to have scored more. At his rate he will score about 14 goals in the league... Of other players making their first season in the Premier League, only Negredo had scored more goals (6), but Bony has scored 23,5% of his teams goals and Negredo only 16%."

"It's very unfair to include Bony. Benteke, for instance, had a similar-ish start to the Premier League - he only scored 3 goals in 11 appearances. It wasn't 2013 when he started to hit goal-scoring form, and he ended the season on 19 league goals. "

"I think the criticism of Bony has been quite unfair. Coming to PL is never easy for anyone and it very rare for players to hit the ground running. In 10 league apps he has scored 4 goals. Not a monumental return but one which isn't bad with 25 games still left to play. I believe he could reach the 15 mark this season if he stays fit. "

Well if that's true it'll be extraordinary after a hamstring pull. Not that I'm complaining.

It's a grade 1 pull whereas Rangel has a grade 2 which will take longer. Think that's right.
