I'm not sure why you are referring to the last manager because I did not support his sacking and fully understood that our results during his final period were due to an extremely tough fixture list and injuries.

If you want to discuss current form you could choose any of the 7 League fixtures or LC match as a starting point and paint a different scenario for each, but it doesn't do too much for your health if you constantly look at the negative <laugh>

You're right of course, Breezy. Recent form means just that and you can read into that what you will. A lot of websites use the LLDD format as an indicator and it's completely valid. If you want to add some more that's fine, like WWWLLDD but it's the ones closest to the right that are most relevant because it tells coaches and us fans where we're going over the last month or so.

PGF is just being daft again.

Well seeing as we have a rubbish strike force so far this season then what monk has achieved is nothing but special by any top manager. Just think where we would be if our strikers were to perform...

Daiswan started out with "Jason Scotland is crap " then moved on to the "Laudrup out " early , moved on to "Monk can do no wrong " , which he will hang onto with his last grasp , to complete the cycle .... and now were back to the beginning with "Bony's crap " with a little Monk is great thrown in . Your an easy read dai , its a short story buddy .

About Bony, I think we see him as we want him be but not as he actually is.

Bony is not is a top of the range, 20 plus to 30 goals per season, £20-30M, Rolls Royce of a striker; no matter how much we want him to be, he's no Costa, Ronaldo, Suarez or even a Sturridge in the prem.

So what is he then? Imo he's a mid range, 12 -16 (20 absolute max) goals per season, Mercedes of a striker: (per season = premiership only, no other competitions)

It's time for us to be realistic, Bony is good no doubting that but he's not a high profile, machine as those mentioned above, not Sturridge by the way, are.

So far he's scored one prem goal which for him is probably a little below par but if he'd scored twice so far then, imho, that's as good as he gets goal scoring-wise.

He may string together a few games where he's on fire, but the odds on him getting 20 + would be relatively long.

What we, the Swans, have got is a target, capable of scoring 15 goals or assisting with others. He's a solid player for us, who will give a decent return on our investment, he's just not 20+ prem goals man.

Which is why we paid £12 million not £20 to £30 mill. It was only last season when some on here were saying that the midfield need to be chipping in more goals Dyer/Routledge et al. Well now they are which along with their improved delivery to Bony I am sure he will get back to last seasons form. There is no denying that 1 in 7 in the league is not great, it is exactly what he started with last season. The only difference being is he scored inthe first game against Man Utd and then didnt score in the league again until Sunderland 6 games later. This time around he scored inthe 7th.

    Some of football's shortest reigns
Micky Adams - Swansea, 13 days (1997) Adams walked out amid a disagreement over transfer funds

Martin Ling - Cambridge United, nine days, (2009) Ling initially walked away, citing an unworkable relationship with chairman George Rolls. He returned following Rolls's departure

Kevin Cullis - Swansea, seven days, (1996) PE teacher Cullis supposedly lasted just one and a half games, after handing over duties at half-time during a 4-0 loss to Blackpool

Dave Bassett - Crystal Palace, four days (1984) Bassett never actually signed a contract, but did four days' work before returning to Wimbledon

Leroy Rosenior - Torquay, 10 minutes (2007) Torquay came under new ownership 10 minutes after Rosenior's appointment and the ex-Fulham striker's second spell in charge at Plainmoor was over

What an irksome little tick you are.

I've stayed out of this Laudrup v Monk crap but when our current Manager (whom I support btw) has achieved anywhere close to 9th position and won a cup then maybe your views on the subject may have some merit. Until then you're just perpetuating the commonly held belief on this forum that you're a tool. <ok>

Give it a rest and wise up!

No other manager can win us our first cup and chances of another one getting 40 points with 10 games remainig again are slim to nil . not bad for a minute's work dai ........lol

I like Bony's comment about proposed moves in the summer - 'I am happy in Swansea. If I had wanted to leave I would have."

Apologies fro getting back on message.
