Yes I have one of these. I'm there now.
Bonecrusher, one of the iconic horses from the Southern Hemisphere has been euthanised after contracting laminitis. The winner of 9 G1 wins is probably best remembered for the knock down, drag 'em out fight he had with fellow Kiwi Our Waverley Star in the 1986 G1 Cox Plate. Going into the race Bonecrusher's owners feared the speed of their opponent. They figured the best way to bring the Lance O'Sullivan ridden Our Waverley Star undone, was to put the blowtorch to him from the half mile. Gary Stewart rode Big Red a treat. The two great New Zealand horses who'd swept all before them in their home country and Australia, then began to pour it on. What they left us with is often referred to as the "Race of the Century."

R.I.P. Champ.
