I was going to go for 1-1 but as a couple of predictions have already done that, I'm going to put on my big boy pants and be brave... Bolton 1-2 Gills (Oliver, Dempsey)
Morning all from the Algarve, my first Saturday to be able to sit down and watch the match. Bolton has lost their last 3 conceding 8 goals without reply. But they have been against Plymouth, Wigan, and Wednesday. They have done well against the lower league sides, which is where we are sadly. We have had some tough matches and this could be a good scoring game, MKB wanting now to consolidate and Bolton wanting to get back in the play-offs. We have however only scored 9 goals in 11 matches and 14 all season, which is not a good sign. Big John has not scored this season. So now to put this into perspective, away from home and a big home support Bolton 3 v0 MKB ( Afolayan x 2 doyle)
This should have been one of my games to go and watch, but thanks to Mr Scally I can't get a ticket (not with the Gillingham fans anyway). So I'll stay at home and watch the cricket instead. I really am undecided whether to even bother trying to get matches in the future if the only way I can get a ticket is via a ticket office 250 miles away that doesn't always seem to be able to actually get the tickets to the purchasers in time for the match. Anyway, on to business. And it's going to be difficult to predict how the atmosphere will affect the players. On the basis that Bolton usually have a decent pitch, and that given a decent pitch we do tend to play better FOOTball Bolton 1 - 2 Gillingham (Afolayan - Lloyd-McGoldrick, Oliver)
If you see the alwaysright thread, you will read the problem another supporter has had, regarding getting a ticket at Bolton.
