On the back of a 4-1 drubbing of Leeds, described by Mick as our best performance of the season, we travel to rejuvenated Bolton Wanderers.

Bolton are unbeaten in 6, including 4 straight wins at home under ex Canary Lennon. 5 home games in 7 certainly is what the dr ordered for a start!

I think they will be very tricky opponents for us. 10 goals 3 conceded in their four home games also! Wins include Cardiff and Brentford, two good sides....

We welcome back Noel Hunt for this one, which will be a very welcome extra option. Pleased Dids scored vs Leeds. We look pretty much full strength, and I wonder if C.Stewart could perhaps sneak onto the bench for this one or if the games too soon.

I'm going to plump for 1-1. Thoughts?

2-0 Town.
Sorry boys, I just can't predict a defeat for us at the moment. Not saying we're unbeatable or anything arrogant like that, it's just that I trust Mick and the lads to do the business every week against any team in the league. Obviously we won't win every game from now until May. Hell, I'm even confident of turning Southampton over in the cup.

Now that's what I like to hear SD, but I think we will do well to come away with a point!

Heart says 1-2 Town, but an incident packed game and bloody tough hard-earned 1-1 draw with MM written all over it!

After reading the preview Harry assembled on TWTD, seems they aren't the best defensively aerially, with one fan suggesting Reading could have scored 6..... As we all know we're a major threat from set pieces from the usual suspects, so that bodes well.

Also, they can't win every home game under a new manager surely!?

Top after tomorrow would be increible wouldn't it! Not convinced we will be, but I'm loving the season so far. Thoughts on team?

B ski ( whatever spelling! )

Mings/ Berra/ Smith / Chambo

Tabb Skuse

Bru

McGoldrick Murphy Anderson

I think Anderson COULD get the nod over Hunty wide for this game, be a toss up Bishop / Bru for the other. Perhaps Bru as Bishop played 90 for the U21s v Brentford.

<laugh>

They have still got a bee in their collective bonnet over the 2nd leg of the play-off semi final! <ok>

I thought Mr Knight did a pretty good job that night and got all the Penalty decisions spot on.

Trying to be optimistic but I don't have a good feeling about this game. Sadly, I think we'll lose this 2-1, but I wish to be proved wrong.

Really pleased to see so many contributers on here, and as many like me cant get to many games, we do depend on the feed-back on matches, players, the form, the new rising talents, the stupidities, the atmosphere...and the excitement of being a Town fan right now!

I am glad to hear Skuse seems to be playing at the level expected.

Tough not pretty 1-1, and slip to 3rd. No problem.

I can remember where I was that evening, listening to the commentary whilst working on a major cable damage (love digger drivers, collective IQ of rock)
my mate could not understand the importance of what was happening.

I was there for the FA cup win & the Euefa cup win. But that game was up there with them for excitement & what it meant. Happy days could be here again.

I can top that - I was working that day... as a professional reenactor (I'm in the Sealed Knot) and was at a local heritage centre for a 17th century sheep castration supper!

And I missed the FA cup goal cos some berk dropped his flag on my head at that very moment :-o

Anyway, back on topic, I'll go for 2-1 to us.

Are we any closer to seeing something of Stewart or Henshall, or are they still both walking about with intravenous drips, leg braces and other paraphernalia of the perpetually injured?
