Really, who would buy a football club these days. It'd be interesting though, despite the gloomy days since he's been here it would make me anxious if he were to leave, as I'd be worried about who might come in, there are alot worse owners out there than him unless it was some fans consortium which got put together.
He's probably always on the look out for a buyer, being the type of businessman he is. I'm not sure if it would be a blessing or not. We're lucky that ME doesn't want the limelight, like someone like Tan for instance. He also doesn't mess about with the manager too much either, but if another buyer wants to take everything on and invest heavier than Marcus already is then that could be the catalyst for a promotion push.
In one respect we can consider ourselves lucky with mr Evans because he interferes in the team very little,if at all. He has invested a lot of money to keep us afloat and I'm sure most of us are grateful for that but we'd all like him to stick a few more quid the managers way and make us more than a stubborn hard to beat team. But we also need to be wary of who may buy the club should mr Evans sell. We don't want a Leeds situation. Or a Vincent tan. So is it a case of better the devil you know than the devil you don't ?
