Agreed, would not wish this on any club, well maybe Chelsea, man u or Reading, Leeds... No seriously not good and hope they pull through.
very sad to hear one of the oldest English clubs in danger of going out of business. Doubly so with the game awash with money. Start sharing the cash throughout the leagues more fairly
Read somewhere recently that there are several clubs in serious debt, Brighton owe something like £180m but that's ok as they got a nice new ground and training facilities out of that and it is owed to their owner with very soft repayment terms. Bournemouth are heavily in dept to their owner, can't remember the exact figure, but they spent 150% of their income last season on wages lone, but that's ok because it's Bournemouth....... We already know about the likes of Leeds, Cardiff etc and their debt mountain, plus there's us as well but off course we're the only one's reported on as I suppose we make good news copy for some editors...... No wonder Gartside the Bolton CEO was keen on scrapping promotion/relegation from the Premier League as he proposed whilst Bolton were still in the division........
Sad to hear but a cracking game earlier in the season 2-0 down then to go 3-2 up only to be pegged back and then score in the last minute of time added on. My heart might not recover but one hell of a game
Thank God he never got his way. In a way it is difficult to have any sympathy when they were prepared to shaft every ambitious club for their own self-preservation...
