Seen Saints against QPR and Fulham at Loftus Road and its a crap ground. What with their crap ground but big investment in players, hope they go down.

Haha, like your thinking Si. I'm contemplating the bottom three. We have different criteria next season, but more pressure, its going to be great!

Holden would be a great signing been really unlucky with two bad injuries since he came to England. The second injury was as a result of a horrendous Johnny Evens tackle if I remember rightly.

Think QPR are more likely to improve if they stay up because of the finance. So would prefer them to go down.

I would love to see QPR relegated and Bolton stay up. Reasons have already been mentioned QPR throwing their money around and Bolton due to Muamba. I also didn't like the fact that the QPR fans came on the pitch at the end of the game against Stoke presuming they were staying up and congratulating all their players. Plus Bolton have had so many injuries this season.

Haven't checked the stats but I think our recent record against QPR is a little better than against Bolton so i'd sooner they stay up.

I don't understand how you can't be pleased about this promotion. I detest the sky money, its obscene, but we as a club shall benefit from it. Don't you get that, if we don't do well, we won't keep the players we want, we'll be the Southampton feeder club of old (player of the year.........yeah he's for sale), we need to be plying our trade at a elevated level. If it goes tits up, the owners still have money as a going concern, Staplewood is shiny, the foundations are really good. But FFS don't just put in little moans for the next few months, its getting on my nerves already.
I enjoyed League One, you have heard me say that before, but Adam Lallana does not want to play Rochdale on a wet Tuesday night, so get over it mate. It was fun, it is where the real football comes from, but we need to move forward.

    Grrrr

Lets see...Bolton are quite awful, and will probably be just as awful next season so I'd like to see QPR go down, as they can't be as bad next year. Not to mention they were the only promoted side to chuck so much money around so it would also be funny. I'm not sure Bolton have enough to beat Stoke tho, they do tend to rely on a big target man too much, kind of a one man team if you know what I mean..:emoticon-0116-evilg

If he replies, I'm sure he'll confirm his hatred of all things EPL (theres been quite a few posts). I guess, he'll just have to get used to it.

Indeed. It's almost miraculous. That's twice in two seasons, although the late charge this season was amazing in that they were up against some of the strongest teams.

But it begs the question - why can't they do it all season..? I'm not suggesting they could continue their fantastic top 4 to 6 form, but at least upper mid table. Roberto Martinez must be thinking that some of his players are taking the Michael.

As regards QPR or Bolton. I can't make up my mind. I would like to see change in the PL, and more south based teams in it, but I like Owen Coyle, as a manager. So events, dear boy.

Have rarely paid the PL any attention for years, now suddenly I have to have opinions on clubs I know nothing about. No change there then<laugh> I hope QPR stay up for no reason than that I'd like newly promoted teams to stay up. Hope City win title because I am bored with ManU. Blackburn will struggle next year as they showed little fight towards the end...probably need a new type of player....suspect they will be sold shortly.

So pleased they stayed up. Father in law is a season ticket holder and wife a fan!

By the way, father in law thinks Martinez should be sacked ??!!??

Sacked by Liverpool in four years' time, after taking over for Daglish, maybe. If Wigan sacked him, they'd probably finish next season on 15 points.

Can't see QPR beating Man city so Bolton have a great chance of avoiding the drop if they beat stoke. They just seem to struggle against any team so even though I would like them to stay up, I think they will lose or draw and get relegated.

i'm struggling to make my mind up on this one. I dont like QPR's owners but MH has done well with some of their results recently. Bolton have been in the top flight for a fair while now without really making much of an impression.

QPR would be an easy away game for me so Im gonna say QPR to stay up. Cant see Bolton winning next Saturday in any event.

I know TP is not a fan of the money, fine. I think he will need to look a lot lower than the Championship to get away from it though. Winchester City paid Jamie White £250 a week this season, on an average gate of 100 (fiver to get in), chasing promotion from the ninth tier to the eigth.
