Nope but his strike rate for Town is 3 in 12 apps and 3 in his last 3 matches so maybe he’s coming good.
The Quaner talk is all academic really as he's on some serious dollar at Huddersfield and still contracted with them next season.. He'll be back there and probably get a few in the Championship next season. I think there is a really good player in there (somewhere) and Saturday he showed glimpses of what he can do... He's got a lot of very useful attributes as a strong, powerful and pacey striker, but has the first touch of a trampoline (Much like Jackson) and the money it would take could (and needs to) be spent better on other options that will not be such a strain on the wage structure. Most frustratingly it just highlights that a performance resembling a proficient striker yields 2 goals and a win.. Had we had something like that over the course of the season (particularly the last couple of months) we wouldn't be so far adrift.
