A strong finish will really help us next year. Unbelievable support from Suffolk in the circumstances!
I'll take that. An enjoyable first half and a scrappy second half, caused by not having Bishop and Dozzell on the pitch and our inability to hold on to possession.
That was a decent game. We started with only one loanee and that bodes well for the future. I'm still not convinced by Quaner but I reckon he could be a beast in League One. Chambers had a good game today, if he was any better than he is he wouldn't be playing for us. Both full backs played well. Kenlock is improving and Emmanuel was solid. Bishop was quiet, Dozzell made some good passes, Judge was absolutely everywhere. Well played lads
I did not rate him at all and preferred to give our own the minutes but if he can score goals he can score goals.
Indeed. I don’t even see why we’re talking up keeping players on for the long term. This squad is seriously lacking quality, we have not had a player this season who has played consistently well, and that was our first win in thirteen. I appreciate we got a win on the road, but it was against a club riddled with uncertainty, off-field problems, and a team that hasn’t trained for a week. I get that we could do with some positivity and that is was surprising to actually see a striker of ours score a goal (let alone two in the same game), but Quaner is not the answer we need for instant promotion. We need guaranteed goals, we need experience, and we need some actual on pitch leadership. Judge is a good start, but we need to be more ambitious with our signings and we need the owner to actually start investing in a competitive budget to allow us to actually start achieving something under his ownership.
A goal every 300 minutes or so for Town is decent enough. Equates to about 15-20 goals over a full season.
Good result boys , it looks like you are down but win the next 5 and miracles may happen . We will try and take 3 points from Reading for you on Wednesday
I would be happy to try Harrison & Jackson in league 1. Think they will score the goals at that level
