Bolton Wanderers are weighing up a move for unwanted Tottenham striker Robbie Keane. The Spurs striker has been out-of-sorts since initially leaving White Hart Lane to join Liverpool in 2008. The Republic of Ireland international has never rediscovered the form that earned him the big-money move to Anfield. He was due to join West Ham this summer following his loan move at Upton Park last season, but the Hammers' relegation means the move is no longer appealing to either party. Trotters manager Owen Coyle is on the lookout for strikers. He is working to the assumption that last season's loan hero, Daniel Sturridge, will not be returning from Chelsea for the new campaign, and he has already lost Johan Elmander on a free transfer to Galatasaray. Keane still has 12 months to run on his Spurs deal, but knows that he is unlikely to see first-team football if he stays at White Hart Lane next season.
Please take him. He seems good for ROI but domestically he looks finished. Maybe a move to a club where he would play more would suit him and resurrect his career.
