Been this afternoon to view and some interesting SAFC programmes, and other football stuff 1937 cup final programme and newspaper etc, and 1973 items last foot 'ball' played at roker park, i sold my collection a few months ago 930 programmes and got about £200 which is a joke but needed the space, i collect coins and was some there, easy to sign up and join and really interesting viewing over 400 lots. the auction is tomorrow 10 am.

Some serious money on the 1937 stuff, Id love it to frame... have both the Shack books signed but theres some other items that I think will get some interest

Classiest SAFC memorabilia I have seen was a few years ago, a professionally framed pair of Wembley tickets from the 1937 and 1973 FA cup finals matched with the autographs of the winning captains. A small item yet what memories it evoked. I have often wondered since about its provenance, and how long it will be before another "set" could be assembled.

I think the 1937 items went for £400 +
So including commission somewhere along the lines of £480. Id have loved it, as would a number of others... think that price wasnt bad if the semi final ticket and qtr final tickets were genuine.... think those are somewhat rarer than the final tickets

I actually think that the Luton Town tie is there.. and maybes even Swansea Town.... whoever bought those I think have got a right old piece of history there
