Mata had a brain freeze. I think most refs would have given him one more chance after the foul for the second yellow but Dean loves a bit of drama.

We'll finish where we deserve to finish and won't have any cause for complaint.

 

I think it's abit unfair to criticise the team as a whole or LVG for today's defeat, after all they played most of the game with 10 men.

Mata made a silly mistake today, and that's what's cost us the game. It's hard enough playing away from home in the PL, without having to do it a man down. I can forgive Mata though, as he has been our best player from an attacking sense all season.

It's obviously a big blow to our top 4 prospects, but with how inconsistent everyone has been this season, it still isn't impossible. If any side within striking distance can put together a run of victorys then they will likely be able to gate crash the party. So fingers crossed we can finish the season strongly.
