Start of the game was decent, got into some good positions and created a couple of chances. Then everything slowed right down, lots of passes between O’Shea and Kipre but nothing penetrating. Game drifted from about 20-25 minute mark until the hour when we started trying to up the tempo again. Subs made a big difference and got a deserved goal. After that, we could have had a couple more but players were trying to get Azon a goal rather than shooting themselves - that’s fine if you’re 3 up but not when it’s only 1. Anyway, got the win and we move on. Taylor was a positive and we looked solid, albeit that West Brom offered little apart from long balls which were meat and drink for our cb pair. Kmc obviously knows more than me about coaching, team set up etc but making 7/8/9 changes every game can’t help _ defence especially should be the same players where possible. Nunez could have a roll as a number 10 as he took up some good positions when he came on. Atmosphere was strange, not negative but it was tense - everyone waiting for something to happen
