Anyone catch Top Gear last night?

 

Nope, who was on it..

 

Its Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris presenting. They did a road trip across the inca trails in some dodgy 2nd hand cars. McGuinness and his car had me in tears! Just wondered if anyone else caught it.

The 3 of them actually have good chemistry.

They’ve made top gear watchable again

 

I always enjoyed the original three, not because I liked them, but just because they could wind people up, especially Clarkson and for his non PC attitude.

Well. Its Friday so I'm rolling back the years and spending it down the pub (I mean virtually in here! Not in the real world!).

Can't be arsed arguing about football today. So.... other than Leeds United, what are peoples plans for the weekend?

I'll kick it off. I'm pretty boring nowadays with a young family. Not working this weekend. Doing my long run (22 miles) in the morning because Sunday weather looks ****e. I promised my lad I'd take him swimming Sat afternoon to the inflatable session at the pool.

Up Sunday, gentle 5 mile run followed by pancakes for breakfast. Sunday roast then probably spend the day visiting the lads grandparents as both have been away for a week or two.

You certainly live the Rock n Roll lifestyle. Well today is me and the mots 33rd wedding anniversary, so it'll be a quiet drinking in session, Sat I'll try to get a link to watch the mighty Whites and beer will follow and on Sunday more beer and gambling.

 

Oooh, what are we gambling on? Horses, football, poker?

 

Football only and I'm not a big gambler, what I mean is I bet small, but with a lot of teams in an accy. I do it more out of pleasure than to win big...

I used to play semi pro poker alot before I settled down. The going to bed at 5am isnt good for you though.

I like your style getting valentine's day and anniversary done in one day. I should have thought about that myself. Are you having a meal out or is it a kebab on the way home?

 

Stay in and drink, no special meal or anything like that, we were never into that stuff TBH. Probably listen to a bit of Elvis, drink, bet. Boring stuff really. Anyway we are both over in March for the Uddersfield match, so we're trying to watch the funds.

 

I’ll be meeting up with fellow remoaners to shed tears and plot how to subvert the will of the people. Or alternatively, meal out tonight as i’m such a romantic. I think she wants to wants to waste our money on the upcoming grandchild on Sat so that’ll be fun. Hopefully I’ll see the footy.

 

If she plays her cards right, I might let her stay in the living room and watch Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR tonight!
