you could well be right norway and the odds are with you but i would give him his chance as we have nobody better at the moment, one thing we know about boddie is he loves to get forward and take shots at every opportunity...
Good evening Swans and seasons greetings. Fantastic to see Bodde on his way back - I really feared that he might not make it. I wish him well and hope can regain his old form.
Cracker- My clothes look good always I dont think im out of my mind, just applying common sense, something that seems to be in short supply whenever Ferrie Bodde is mentioned, i will be as pleased as anyone to see him make an impact, but its highly unlikly that will happen,he would need at least a season of playing at a lower level just to get his skill levels and game fitness back, not to mention his confidence, expecting him to come back after 3 yrs out and perform at a level he has never played even when he was in his pomp is just asking way too much IMO !! The best help people can give Ferrie Bodde is to forget about him making the difference to our team,at least give him the chance to kick a ball in anger before classing him as the missing piece of the Jigsaw and the saviour of the Swans, sad to miss him all these years and by god we could have done with his talent but those days are probably over for him now,if they are not then he will go down as the greatest comeback king of all time
its nearly 4 years norway, i dont count the kick about the last time he tried to make a comeback. i agree that its to much to late for him now, nobody has come back and been successful after 2 years and we are 2 leagues higher than when he was playing. its a massive ask that i cant see happening...
Playing lots of different sports most of my life on a massive scale , with tons of injuries involved , I learned to adapt & endure myself to League MVP's of a few sports after 45 years old & after all the injuries . Mind over body !! Seems to me Bodde had a pretty good 20 minutes in that friendly at the start of the season ... It's like riding a bike . Chances are your more right on the bodde situation Norway but Bodde has the talent that if he can get in & stay healthy , to be a huge impact player .
Class is permanent, form is temporary, I did say that if we are to ever see him back then it had to be January, or never! Looks like the boy is going for it, hope it all works out for him, just to shut the doubters up, and there's a few of those down my local pub too! Get in there Bodde son, time to kick ass....... please log in to view this image
Ferrie Bodde is our MVIP cracker !! (most valuable Injured player) Class is permanent form is tempory, its yet to be proven Ferrie has the class in this division, please remember he has never even played at this level !! He will try i guess, but if buck is un willing to let Dobbie have the time to find his feet what makes people think he will give Ferrie the time ?? Realistically, its going to be next season if at all for Bodde to get the required time, people are dreaming if they think he is going to make a difference in the next few months. My own view is that he is finished and will never play to the required level ever again, that is a statement that i really hope comes back to haunt me !! i will gladly take flak for it,something tells me i wont though. We all saw how hard it was for Kemy to break into the team after injury when he first joined us,he was out for 4 months, as Dai correctly points out it will be going on 4 yrs for Bodde !!
You can't be serious Norway, I don't think there's one Jack, with the exception of Dai, that thinks Bodde could not walk into the Premiership, he was a class above when he played for us in the Championship, that was all too obvious to see, think you've been turned to the darkside by Dathvaderdai!!................. Best wishes for the New year Norway!...................... please log in to view this image
you cannot be serious dragon, boddie would walk into any premiership team my arse, what planet are you on.., the lad has only played a bit part in league one and because he scored a couple of great goals you think he is a super star, trunds and scotland have scored just as good goals as him so shall we go for them also.....
Never let the FACTS get in the way aye Dai! You don't half talk some rubbish on times mate, "bit part in league one" you say, what a load of rubbish, he started every game for our league one winning season, and just for the record, he was injured in our first home defeat of the championship, against Birmingham City, were you even there I wonder, and this four years he's been out that you've been spouting on here is more drivel, he's actually missed two seasons, that's 2009/2010, and 2010/2011 seasons, so how about talking some real FACTS for once, you plonker! But I do like you, you shed!!!!!!!!............... please log in to view this image
Not that this proves anything, but is interesting news for all Bodde fans (like myself). Ash Williams just posted this on Twitter: Ashley Williams @AshWills84 "I just wanna tell everyone that one of the best players I have ever played with the legend that is Ferrie Bodde is close to a return!!" Seems as though Ashley rates him just as much as us. A Bodde, Siggusson, Augustien midfield anyone?
we all rated him...3 1/2 years ago, i cant see him being much of an impact today though, give him a try i say as we have nothing to lose against Barnsley but the premiership will be to much for him..imo......
Was hoping he would be back for a few minutes here & there till after the break in February . 25th against Stoke is when I'm hoping Bodde will be starting reasonably regularly ,if he can stay healthy , this is huge !!
