Bob Pollock dropped from Prem AND Football League

    The ref had several players between him and the ball, he cant give it when the lino is in perfect position and has an unobstructed view.

    The fail is with the lino, the ball/net colour and FIFA for being 10 years behind the times.

    You are quite right about celebrating goals in the side netting Ricardo, but with Clint's goal I sensed the reaction of most people in the stadium was that it was a goal.

    I understood that Pollock said he didn't see or know whether it was in or not, so I don't see that Atkinson would have overuled him if he had given the goal, Pollock didn't say it did not go in! I find it very hard to believe that neither him or the other 2 officials didn't see it go in when so many others did.

    I really do try not to belabour bad luck/decisions etc., but we do seem to be on the end of some stinkers this season. If Atkinson wasn't in a position to adjudge the ball over the line, why were we not given a penalty for Ricketts virtually tearing Zamora's shirt off? Pretty galling when you consider the one that Villa were given earlier in the season. Consistency would be nice. _58989730_hill.jpg
