I think that's it then. At most clubs where the is a betting partner they will be one of the first to hear any news coming out. I remember when we had Ladbrooks (I'm sure it was them, though I'm going back 10 years), they insisted on knowing anything like that so they could change the odds.

Well if it's Guy Luzon that's boring and un-exciting appointment.

Luzon was 1/6 yesterday morning but 6/4 by the evening. Seems like that was the time to put money on him

Did you put another bet on after Neil Adams left?

I was convinced Stuart Pearce would be next.

So irritating that Neil Adams; the worst resignation in history. 3 pts off the play offs and they're giving him a new role in the summer. Tosser.

I work with a former forest player and he tells me that the fans are 100% still behind him. Last weekend they had signs saying ''in Psycho we trust''.

I didn't understand it, till he pointed out the fact they are under a transfer embargo for another year, will lose two players this summer to Newcastle and the squad there is Pearce's. No candidates would fancy it as much as they would have done at the start of the summer. Worrying for them, but they think if Pearce tries and steady's the ship in the meantime, the promotion push will come once the embargo is lifted.

    Sounds a tad delusional myself.

Me too. And yes, I do feel old in the sense that following Charlton this season has aged me more than any other season bar that which started with Dowie in charge.

I thought I'd seen it all but I recall now the words of my old man who once said that Charlton Athletic are a club that will always find new ways to disappoint its supporters. He had a way with words, did my old dad.
