It sounds great to meCheers.
Might be a complete failure tbh but always fancied the idea. A nice little escape and better, in my head, than say a caravan
I'm not too far from a mooring etc, within easy walking distance. Something for weekend getaways and short breaks

a much better idea, campers are great. Just drive into the middle of nowhere and chill out with most of the comforts of home.Get a camper van instead.

It's a ****ing daft idea. A money pit..Unless you’re spending plenty of money, swerve the idea, you’ll end up with a crate that costs a mint to moor and is about as appealing as a day out in the bucket of a dumper truck.
^^^^^^^^^^^lives in Indonesia, therefore is a boat person. There are other issues to consider as well:

And if you still want to recreate the aquatic experience ask for the room with the water bed.Work out how much it's going to cost you.
Then work out how many nights you could stay in a fancy hotel for the same amount of money.
Then book that many nights in the fancy hotel, staggered over a few years.
Once all the money has gone you won't have to pay to moor a boat you've learned to hate.
You'd probably end up torching it for the insurance money and spend three years in the big house.

Right fellas, anyone here owned a boat?
Basically I'm looking at getting one for the canals around here. Always fancied having one as way of taking short breaks on it and see the country via the canal network.
Seen a few recently but realised I know **** all about the rules n regs and costs involved with keeping a boat. Cost of purchase is what it is but fees?
Any help appreciated

If you are looking for a good dinghy, I can help you out bro.
Starting price is £5,000 or you can upgrade to the deluxe version which includes a nice shiny life jacket for 6k.
Payment is in cash only, there are no refunds and failure to pay results indeathno goods.
The only regs or rules you need to remember, is if you ever get stopped by customs is to just ask for the police and state you are Iranian.
Please PM me if i can assist you further![]()
