Not a fan of Jenkins but I do believe he's just a messenger boy now. His office is at the Liberty but he works for and answers too a consortium or gang of unknown, unnamed, hidden, secretive shareholders.

As you rightly say PGF, if he'd gone when he sold up, his stock would probably still be high and fans would be crying out for him to come back.

Probably believed he was doing the right thing by staying to continue with the swans ethos. He doesn't appear to have the influence he thought he would though.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I wonder if Huw has any regrets about selling out to these particular Yanks ...... bet he does/will if they flip the Club and make several million bucks......

Doesn't Huw still have some shares in the club though? He's pocketed millions and if they increase the value, he'll be quids in with his remaining shares?

Plus he's on a 'decent' salary at the club.

We're getting to the business end of the Final Countdown. Let's hope minds are focussed and we make a couple of positive deals!

The bare minimum will be done to keep us in the Prem, the only interest the Board now has is creaming it in player sales, it would not surprise me if there is no more transfers, and unless Llorente does go to Chelsea, there will be no return of Bony or anything else for that matter, unbelievable that we have given complete control of the club to Yankee idiots................<ok>

"Given complete control of the club to Yankee idiots".

And there was me thinking they had purchased a controlling interest in the club.
As for them being "idiots", the fact that they are highly successful, extremely wealthy business men, would suggest otherwise.

Probably more correct to say Phil that "the idiots have "sold" control to the Yankees"

Being successful and extremely wealthy doesn't refrain you from being an idiot, just look at Trump <laugh>

Being wealthy has never equated to being intelligent as well, though being Venture Capitalists has got nothing to do with Knowledge of the game, and that much they displayed clearly when they signed 'Bob the Builder' as manager last season, and nearly crashed us out of the PL, no wonder these 'thick as a brick' Yankees have kept hold of Jinx, but their objective is far from 'Investment to take us to the next level' as Jinx so publicly spoke when he brought them onboard, there can be only one eventuality for this deceitful takeover in my view, going to be a slow death..................<ok>

Wealth does not automatically infer intelligence, but if you are implying that the new owners of Swansea City do not possess any intelligence, then you are living on a different planet to me.

When it comes to running a PL footy club, they have already demonstrated they are as thick as a brick!..........<ok>

success in Football is not a priority with the owners ...profit is......We have such a weak chairman that is on the same side as the owners because he is making a shed full of money himself and the owners are happy for him to run the club....Once we are finally relegated all three will be off mark my words..

And you can do a better job ? Before you answer, just remember that you spend a large proportion of your time on here, while they are making a fortune. You're right, what idiots they are. <laugh>
