Dai how do you know he hasn't ? It's all well and good taking that moral approach, but without any proof there or being in court we don't know either way.

Basically Ajax are trying to embarrass ML into paying money they feel he owes them. It may work.

What it does show is that Ajax, along with probably the vast majority of football Clubs at that time were not run properly (and probably not legally). Who knows where this can of worms will lead to................

It is not directly a Swansea City matter. Indirectly we are affected as Laudrup will have to deal with his own personal issues so lets hope it is sorted asap

The reason for that Laudrup plays certificate ended up in a Bosnian club before he switched from Japanese Vissel Kobe to Dutch Ajax Amsterdam, was that Ajax thus be able to pay the Dane a so-called sign-on fee amounts - a lump sum - approx. DKK 12 million around the Dutch tax authorities.

This was stated by Robert Meulenbroek, a spokesman for the Dutch public prosecutor, which since 2001 has investigated a major case concerning tax evasion in Ajax.

    study

At the request of the Dutch authorities, the Bosnian authorities investigated Laudrup's paper-related balances with NK Celik confirmed by the Bosnian authorities and the Bosnian football federation.

    - Michael Laudrup did a brief stint in 1997 registered in NK Celik, confirms the Bosnian prosecutor Muris Hadziselimovic who have questioned the agent Bekim Pasalic, who explained that he arranged for contacts between Laudrup's agent Bayram Tutumlu and NK Celik.

In 2001 it was revealed that Michael Laudrup's home had been searched in a coordinated action between the Dutch and the Danish authorities together in the quest to find evidence against Ajax. Back then it was a case that occupied the media in Denmark substantially up to the World Cup kvalifikationskamen between Denmark and the Czech Republic.

    No hunting for Laudrup

In Holland you will not spend more effort to chase Michael Laudrup, said Robert Meulenbroek with reference to Laudrup do not live in the country more and that it will cause a lot of practical problems. But the case against Ajax continues.

Michael Laudrup himself denies having been actively involved in the case.

    - No, I do not know anything about. It was all something that the team took care of, says Michael Laudrup.

He stresses that he never ever signed a contract with NK Celi

This is taken from a Danish newspaper printed in 2004 ,so it would appear that this wouldn't have come as a surprise to Mr Laudrup although he may have surprised more in the manner that the Dutch authorities are trying to contact him

"and not one of us knows the situation ..." Post 41.

"pay up laudrup you know you are guilty" Post 50.

Two somewhat contradictory posts there,Dai. In addition,Post 50 extract is probably libellous.

It's not likely he will attend court, he obviously has a legal team that can handle this for him. But saying that he is guilty is a bit stupid Dai. The whole point of a hearing is to determine liability, and I don't think that £2.5m is a realistic sum as clearly laudrup didn't get that sum of money, remember it would mean he got paid about £5m as this is the tax element only. And they cannot profiteer out of this.

What is pathetic Dai, is that you are concluding that Laudrup is guilty without an understanding of the full FACTS <doh>
