We've been flirting with Admin for years, we've been flirting with liquidation for years. We have an option to remove the tough times and have a solid secure future as Cardiff City FC, yes without our blue identity, but as Cardiff City FC, we were needing to weigh up the positives against the negatives. Positives debt free, secure future, prepared for the future, increased funds for the playing squad. What we're left with after this, an uncertain future, a pissed off owner, debts that need paying with no funds to pay it, a club losing money every month, and all over a rebellion over becoming red from blue. The wolf is at the door still, and he won't go away.... when FFP comes in we will be in a difficult place.
I disagree H, I read that as they'll sell up/off load the debt (as the club is currently worthless from a value point of view) if anyone wants to take it on. This bit of the letter tells us in no uncertain terms that without their plans for the future they don't really know how the club continues. I'm still praying these morons haven't just given up the chance to burn £70million of debt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..... And , on top of that , they have " Bluebirds fighting amongst themselves & they shouldn't be , it's not different groups of Bluebirds that are wrong in there different stands , it's the the Malaysians and there mastery of control . Keep your fans & ditch them ... the Pricks !!!!!
"This may include looking for new and additional partners and investors" = Someone who will take over the costs from us, so we can walk away. This sums it up! Cracker, Stevo: I understand what your saying but I'm clinging to the "may include..." and not "will include..." otherwise my summer is well and truly screwed This I agree with
they tell us 2 ditch our souls for cash....then when some say fk u.......they chuck it back at us.......what the fk has happened 2 our club and football in general dudes.......................................................we should have gone bust years ago and bought back ninian park through fans trusts and started OUR club again. fk the prem it aint the be all and end all......we need a full stadium paying realistic entry prices roaring on boys from the south wales area.........similar 2 bilboa.
Added some new stuff from Steve Borley in that thread. You can tell by his comments, that it isn't good.
I still can't get over this. The fans, well those who have revolted, have let our club down. This could have secured the future for Cardiff City, future Cardiff City fans wouldn't have had to worry about whether the club would still be around in the next 24 hours but now we are back in that very situation, if the Malaysians pull out, which they very much might do at the response they have got then who will be there to save us? The Malaysians have only done good for this club so far and, in all fairness, this was the first radical proposal that they had put forward and it had far more positives than negatives to it for us and for them. The saying to take one step back to take two steps forward was the right way to look at this, it WAS a sacrifice worth making and now we might end up without a club at all. Absolutely ridiculous reaction, a petition and a march?! Why!? The club had said previously that nothing had been decided but some people were quick to go for the throat, a chance to cause problems and now they might have given us a larger problem!
media and message boards well and truly ****ED US !!!!! annis your a **** and your side kick carl !!!! arrrr fuming !!!!
who ever opposed to them plans ****ing needs your heads read bunch of ****ing pricks, letting the jacks preach all day was bad enough !!!!
threatening them is terrible and should not be condoned but i signed the petition because i wanted them to know how much the club history is valued to its supporters ..i think you have to be careful judging some of the fans who signed it because i'm sure like me they only did it to voice concerns and to heard not force them out.
its a shame that someone decided to leak the confidential stuff, it meant that yesterday we didnt hear anything from the owners as they didnt expect the confidentiality to be broken. by the way, the malaysians didnt hold a gun to our heads, they simply presented a vision for the club, which they were prepared to back with their own money. the club cant go on losing £1m a month, something has to give. maybe this will be regretted by fans in the future. we need a viable plan to reduce the debt....
London, I am not judging people who signed the petition. Everybody has the right to their opinion. I am upset with the abusive people. You and the majority are definitely not one of those.
