I'm hoping that this thread has the same effect as HIAG's other ill fated 'Will Spurs draw Arsenal in the Europey Pot?' failure, where having written us off, we progressed to the next round.
 
Every Gooner on this site has, rather cowardly, predicted that Arsenal will lose tonight against Barca. Therefore, a loss, of itself, is not going to set off any meltdowns on their board. However, there will be a point a which they will break. Where do you lads think that point is set? 0-4, 0-5, more?

You are the one doing the predicting mate. You've predicted that we will get 'slaughtered' tonight and are talking about it being 0-4 or 0-5. So which one is it ?

Hardly, Pix!

It could very easily end up like a cricket score, but I'm sure that we're all hoping Arsenal manage to put on a valiant show of last-ditch defending to try to keep the score respectable.

My "prediction" (if you want to be so juvenile to try to hold me to one) is that Arsenal will struggle valiantly against a remorseless Barca attack, and keep the score to a respectable 0-1 or 0-2.

None of us want to see Arsenal slaughtered, Pix. If that happened, it would be bedlam on this board! Who wants that? Not me, that's for sure.

I'm hoping you win 1-0, beat Hull City and then select a youth team for the quarter final on 12/13 March. Not that I'm selfish or anything!
 
The fear is that you will get slaughtered, Pixie - you and every other Gooner on the planet know it! That can hardly be called a prediction.

You will lose, of that I doubt anyone will disagree. By what margin... who knows?

It will all come down to how good your last-ditch defending is, Pixie.
