If we do "bottle it again" (not sure that our past record over the last few seasons demonstrates that we have "bottled it," bearing in mind the fact that we don't have an oligarch or the stadium, yet), we'll still be far more attractive club to managers and players than any of those attempting to usurp our place in the table.

While you were up in the mix of 4th and ppl were saying Poch's fitness programne was finally paying off, Erikssen and Kane were performing and you had reached League Cup final, spurs were definitely among those ppl were saying could make the CL spot. In fact, at the time, had you not said that, many spurs fans would have lambasted you for not including them! So if you have plummetted into obscurity, naturally ppl will now say you bottled it.

Every team above us has spent more over the past 5 seasons.

I am not wumming you HIAG. As connoisseurs of this great forum I think we are both beyond that now. No - what you are sensing is the aggressive nature of my tone which seems to reflect my general disgust at the cowboy nature of your club as a result of the slime ball in charge.
I have no ill will towards the fans or the team. However, at its core, your club have the money but no real passion. In that respect Spurs are truly unique. What a poor indictment of a club.
