It's interesting that you choose to use the word "ditch", since you have now chosen to "ditch" Monk with such alacrity.
He it was, that you elevated to the level just beneath sainthood.
Such hypocrisy is par for your course, and something you would do well to "ditch". <cheers>

So what you're saying is that nobody is allowed to change their point of view over time as situations develop?

Well,I've scoured my post, and guess what? NOWHERE does it say,or indicate, that "nobody is allowed to change their point of view".

But there's changing a point of view, and then there's changing one's entire philosophy.

I know which route he is taking. Sad to see you don't.

They're much the same thing aren't they? Your point of view and your "philosophy". Explain what you consider to be the difference.

If you are unable to see how quite a few regular posters have turned through 360 degrees with regards Monk,as I anticipated they eventually would, then I will be wasting my time trying to explain it to you.
Accordingly,I won't waste my time, since my neighbour's garage door still requires a second coat.

The reason quite a few posters have changed their mind on Monk vetch , is results have dictated the change of thought.
Most thought Laudrup was the greatest thing since the invention of toast for a time ,but results changed how people think.
Minds change exactly how Adam said "Changing Developments "

Just for the record I have never put any manager on a pedestal (Martinez came close though), or honoured him with saint hood, what I do like to do though is get behind the manager until the point in time when it becomes impossible to do so, which happened the few weeks before Laudrop got sacked and this week with Monk after the Bournemouth game, I don't think this is an issue, why back a losing horse, unless of course your Vetch....<ok>

Trunds the silence is defining indeed........<laugh>

Changing minds is not a problem, never has been.
It's all the crap that they espoused during the post Laudrup era.
All the vileness and spite that spewed forth on a daily basis.
If that kind of behaviour is acceptable to you, then fair enough, but I think it's worthwhile retaining the knowledge and comparing it with what will come post Monk. <cheers>

They've probably turned through 180 degrees as if they had gone through 360 degrees they'd be back to the same place. However, changing your opinion involves turning through an amount of degrees and if Phil wants to turn 180 that's up to him.

360 degrees would indicate that they changed tack - twice. <laugh>

Is he paying you for representing him? If so,get it up front. <laugh>

The silence is deafening from the club today, come on Mr Jenkins tell what is happening even if it is not the news most of us want to hear at least we will know where we are, even if it is relegation.

It's a bit like waiting for the announcement of a new pope.
I wonder what colour smoke will emanate from the Liberty? <laugh>

Vetch since Laudrop got booted out of the Liberty, all you've posted is crap, matter of fact on the crapometer you must be off the scale, with your bile against Monk, and posters that do not agree with you, you seem to have argued and thrown personal insults against pretty much everyone on here, and your at it again with your poison.

One can only feel sorry for you

Yet another post teaming with untruths. But hey, keep on repeating them and earn some more brownie points with your monkeynut mates. <laugh>

When it was reported Laudrup was to be sacked, I thought that was a mistake and he would have saved you from relegation. Now I also believe sacking Monk would be a mistake.

Is this the future for Swansea. Monk has an outstanding season, struggles the following. Sack him.

Employ a new manager, he does well for a season, struggles the next. Sack him.

This is what big clubs do, with a big budget and demanding instant success and really if you do sack Monk, while I respect Swansea as a club, I would hope your next manager is a failure and maybe that will teach some of your fans not to demand change when you could give Monk a chance to prove his ability and learn from this difficult period, especially when the players are behind him.

Come and watch the **** we are watching week in week out. Last season the football was still poor but the results sort of justified his tactics and poor football. Now the results are very poor he has nothing going for him.
