Of course players need to put in an afford however yesterday was proof, if needed, our lot are simply not good enough. Even with majority of possession in second half, failed to create one chance. Wigan goalie no shot to save. Constant clueless hoofing high balls into penalty area. No creativity, imagination or whatever

So,BM now has no excuses, players will be paid takeover done,
He has a championship squad, not the best, but not the worst(also has top scorer)
So no more excuses,go and get 8/9 points from 18 and maybe you keep your job.

Can't see us getting any points. The team needs a major attitude overhaul. Can't wait for the season to finish...

Cant believe people are still backing Mcdermott his devoid of ideas, poor tactically and his signings have been very poor!! Worst at making substitutions that ive ever seen

I may get slated for this but is there really any point in sacking him before the end of the season? He should be tested now to see if he can get anything out of the squad now things are looking up.

It's up to him to create a positive vibe about the place.

I agree Elland, pointless in sacking him now. Lets get to the end of the season and start a fresh.......it's going to a bloody interesting few months ahead.....can't wait..<ok>

If McDermott were to get his marching orders now, the new Manager could at least decide between now and the end of the season which players he would want to keep and which ones can go

He is likely finished at the end of the season. So I can't see any benefit to keeping him on now. What motivation is there for him or the players to turn it around and scrape another 5-6 points together.

I have seen it at Newcastle where Shearer kept picking the same team and they kept losing. Same at Wolves last season as well.

Better to get rid now IMO and play more of the younger players telling them to earn their place for next season.

I am really disappointed with McD. He could have played more of the younger ones and used all of our problems as a kind of motivating force. Instead of coming out on the offensive in his interviews and blaming everybody else. That's not someone who is going to deliver us success in the future.

Time for him to go....NOW!!

God some Leeds fans are so melodramatic. However, as MC is obviously going to sack him some point soon, he might as well do it now to give the new man a bit of time to learn the team.

McD has been one dimensional. Has not played youngster, hasn't used the majority of the players he has signed, and comes across that there is no fight in him.

Not yet. Why put a new manager in while we are still threatened? Let McD and the players ensure our safety then let a new guy in wihtout any pressure for the rest of the season, assess the squad, report what is needed to Cellino, and let MC go and get the players we need
