So today sees the first of 5 Championship games this month and let’s hope we can get off to a winning start.

    Sky Preview

Birmingham head into the new season under a transfer embargo with their only signing Kristian Pedersen in limbo. The left-back signed from Union Berlin in June but the EFL have not allowed Blues to register him.Isaac Vassell remains out as he continues to recover from a serious knee injury which has sidelined him since October.
The forward is another month away from returning and has not played in any pre-season friendlies.

Norwich may hand debuts to Jordan Rhodes, Tim Krul and Ben Marshall. Striker Rhodes, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, is expected to shrug off an ankle knock he suffered against Luton last month.
Teemu Pukki and Felix Passlack are also new options for the Canaries but Emiliano Buendia is unlikely to start given his lack of pre-season action.

Edit - I'd be thrilled with a 3-1 win, but just hope we don't lose. <ok>

Brilliant subs as well. Let's hope at LEAST one of them gets more than 15 minutes.
Not too happy seeing Husband starting!!! <doh>

Hope Rhodes gets off the mark and with Pukki starting we have two players with goals in them. Are we playing two strikers up front?

Methinks it will most likely be Pukki as a 'number 10', but REALLY pleased to see them both start.

looks like a 4-2-3-1 to me.

    Krul
    Marshall Hanley Klose Husband
    Tettey Trybull
    Pukki Stieperman Hernandez
    Rhodes

Looks a good solid selection that will be first of all hard to beat. Stieperman must be pulling up trees in training to usurp both Lietner and McClean.

I think we'll win but now perhaps with a clean sheet. How many depends on how well Trybull can link defence and attack.

    Bah!

Yes, I'd expect him back in time for our trip to play the Blades at worst..

I’ve not watched pre-season. Does Pukki work hard enough to cover out wide defensively?

He does work very hard, but would rather he was up front.

More likely Pukki is playing as a second striker behind Rhodes and Steipermann playing WR.

Edit: WhoScored has it as a 4-1-4-1 with Pukki WR and Steiprmann and Trybull inside. If so, DF must have faith in Pukki tracking back.

    Blackburn now winning 2-1.
Only this game and Preston V QPR game still 0-0 in the Championship.

    “at 26'
Offside, Norwich City. Onel Hernández tries a through ball, but Onel Hernández is caught offside.”

    Eh?! <laugh>

Sounds a lot like last season.

Good to see Farke keeps on learning.

Would I take a draw and Ipswich lose at home to a newly promoted side? Yes please!

    That’s how bad it’s got.

True, but he's also our highest scoring player on WhoScored.
