So James Maclean felt threatened in the car park so decided to take the law into his own hands. :emoticon-0146-punch:emoticon-0146-punch

He showed more fight and guts than the entire Wrexham team did over the 90+ minutes that went before!!

Not great though, he absolutely needs to learn to just walk away regardless. Sadly for him his views on certain topics will never sit easy with the majority of British folks and he knows it makes him a target. I'm not condoning the goading and harassment that must have come from the City fans in question but he could easily have provided a bit of banter back, got in his car and driven off - or, if he felt that intimidated, called stewards over to remove the offending fans.

Maybe Spiers will get the nod instead. Unless hes playing for Merthyr.
Started on the right wing last night, then reverted to RB which is where I've seen him most of the time.

Right back is his actual positiuon but he actually reverted to left back last night.

Just demonstrates the dearth of left footed full backs at the club other than Bagan.

Was just about to edit my comment as I realised it was LB. I saw it was that flank he scored from but in my mind assumed RB.
Just shows what a patched up side we put out. Makes the result even more remarkable. A good advert for our accademy.

Giles is the exception at LB, but was away on international duty.

Brizzo doesn't normally do us matchday threads for the cup competitons, so time to resurrect this thread ready for Tuesday?
As I said on another thread, Maresco had a bit of a 'rant' after their game yesterday. Seems to be some discord behind the scenes. He seemed to imply the players werent bought into his methods.
Might be the best time to play them.

Sell out crowd. Top of league 1 versus 4th in PL. Shades of the FA cup game v Leeds perhaps? Looking forward to it even though one can’t help to think it will be a drubbing.
I reckon Chelsea have such a big squad that they could easily put out a completely different 11 against us and still have enough to see us off

TBH I'm more interested to see what kind of line up we put out. How many of the kids will get a look in again?

A shame we'll be missing Rubin C, Kpakio and Kellyman, and disappointing for them.
It'll be interesting to see the side he picks.
Sounds as if Fish is still carrying a knock as well.

I don't think Fish was right from the start of the Donny game. He'd had a few bumps against Stevemage and looked a bit ragged - not sure he should have started.

With Osho out of contention, it's got to be Chambers and Lawlor to start at the back against Chelsea if we;re at all serious about winning it.
