Well, it is. But you've got a point, I have no idea as I really don't care about it either My original point was that the club had little respect or care for their loyal fans.
Henry VIII burned 57k to 72k catholics? The man himself was a catholic and died a catholic (albeit an excommunicated one). Btw, the is no constitutional or legal ban on catholics becoming PM, per se: no more than there is Jewish. The monarch is supposed to take advice from the PM on the appointment of archbishops, as he/she is the head of the CofE. In practice, there have been Jewish and atheist PM's in that situation, and indeed had Michael Howard won the 2005 election we would have had another Jewish PM. Absolutely no-one raised any objections to this scenario during the election. Contrary to popular belief, the delaying of Blair's conversion to RC had nothing to do with the constitution at all, but more to the Labour Party's distrust of his alleged new views on abortion and gay marriage. Or so it said in the Telegraph at the time. What is beyond doubt is that the MONARCHY is constitutionally barred to RC's (as they are the head of the CofE), but not royalty as such. See Princess Michael of Kent.
It makes me laugh the stick they gave us after the stupid t-shirt wearing a few years back, yet we all knew Chelsea have a small group of really scummy people. Phil Mitchell lookalikes and their fat, ugly sons. Booing the Hillsborough minute silence and singing "always the victims" sums them up pretty well. However the media never really pay much attention until now when that same attitude has manifested itself into blatant, outright racism. Ironic Terry has apparently condemned racism in their match programme today. Not all of them must be bad, but I have to admit I don't know many good ones.
Just been reading an article in the Guardian about the bigoted chants/songs at Rangers v Celtic games, the hack that wrote it gives a few examples of offensive chanting in leagues other than Scotland, I had to laugh when he threw this into it. "Other clubs use different methods when it comes to the songs they dislike. Liverpool put a Bart Simpson cartoon on their website recently appealing for the naughty word in the Steven Gerrard song to be removed – roundly ignored, naturally" There's far worse ****e being bellowed at matches by morons(including LFC)that are disgusting, ain't so much bothered that he gave us the mention but that he missed the chance to tell it like it really is at some volatile games in England, his knowledge on the main subject of the article appears to be lacking according to the comments section. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/feb/21/debate-old-firm-rangers-celtic
