I know it’s nothing to do with football; it is a quiet day, but bloody emails.

I am not bad at this tinternet thingy considering my advanced years and lack of appropriate training but these bloody emails.

When I started on this my email address was a great tool for quickly getting messages through, talking to my son, sorting queries and generally asking questions but now, yes now not so with these bloody emails.

I keep abreast of what is going on in my son’s life by looking at face book, don’t know why I have a telephone, don’t get me started on telephone calls.

I have been out today, a meeting with a finance officer about my mum going into care, don’t get me started on finance officers, I got home, logged onto my laptop and into my emails, 21 I had, that’s 21 proper ones not those bloody spam things, don’t get me started on bloody spam.

Good I thought, 21 of my mates want to talk to me, have news, cant wait, not one from a mate, not one from anyone I know, not one worth keeping.

Do you know how lucky I am, I have been selected, a few times, for a chance to get things I neither want nor asked about.

I can have a number of credit cards and a pay day loan, life cover from 15 p a day. Some cracking holidays very cheap and can compare all sorts of things.

And who told bloody Saga, who let on that I am over 50 so I now qualify for very cheap car insurance and bloody singles holidays, no not those anything goes 18/30 ones but bus trips and sight seeing, I don’t like bloody busses.

Then are the invites to join bloody dating sites, not a quick fondle on a Friday night but deep meaningful relationships with a woman they can match me with.

Have you had a good day, well I’m pleased for you, why not email me about it?

I got those but found them useful, mind we are into a new area now, did I ever tell you about...............................
 
Strange one with me the eMail I signed up on here with, is the one I use for lets say less savoury sites.
I get absolutely no spam on it!

My legitimate eMail which I use for bill paying, banking etc. Gets 50 to 60 spams a day.
 
I often wonder how sites such as this make money...Could the fact that you are getting all these emails be related?

So are you saying someone on here is telling people I'm old, knackered and cant get a hard on, is that what you are saying?

If you are talking about this forum RAW, it seems Mick is covering all the costs himself.
It must have cost him quite a lot lately with the sudden influx and need to upgrade servers.

The small amount of email addresses from here would be worth pennies at most. Spammers pay for lists with millions.

I have actually suggested a couple of click through small adverts to earn revenue, as none of us want to see huge flash banners.

Or even a donate button, where people with a spare quid or what ever in their Paypal could donate it to help running costs.
 
Syd, a quick tip : have a little play with it before a cold snap sets in. Then stick it out the window for a few minutes, and it'll freeze in place.

Got to go now - somebody at the door. I think it might be the police.

window sill is to wide to get it outside, are you there, cutey, can you hear me. Think they must have taken him away, he lives opposite that school you know.
 
Hi everyone. I have 3 email addresses, one for all my facebook notifications, one for 606, not606 and ITL notifications/ reg details, and one for communicating with people. Very useful, I'm not forced to wade through loads of emails to find that important one which has the time for my next appointment.
