**** ME !!!!! What the **** are those guys smoking up in the eastern block???.... They actually believe everything is now perfect!!... Imagine Tony Petty coming back to the Swans tomorrow and Huw giving him a life long presidency!!.... That's whats happening and they are perfectly happy with the whole thing!! I just left a commnt telling them that what little respect I had for them has just gone!, im sure that went down well.. and all because they had to try and match the swans on the pitch, they sold out all the morals to try and compete, its ****ing hilarious fair play
Default Firstly, Sams accountant is not on the board. A business acquaintance of his is on the board, he just happens to be an accountant. like i said he has an accountant on the board...
They woke up £83m in debt and by lunch time, its all gone, disappeared, is no more, doesn't exist. Tan the Wizard simply waved his accountants wand, ooh err mrs, and magic'd it all away. Its nothing short of a miracle that's what it is, a fking honest to goodness old school miracle. J H Christ esquire only turned water into wine, only converted 4 fishes into a Dick Barton franchise but, but, Tan the Wizard disappeared £83m. It is, its a miracle I tell you. We should all fall to our knees, just as he likes it, we should forget J H Christ esquire, forget Brian and worship Tan the Wizard for he truly is THE SAVIOR
Enjoying yourselves lads? Always good to see balanced views from those on the other side of the fence.
taff, is it true you were £83m in debt this morning but you are debt free this afternoon ? According to your fellow red dragons that's what it all amounts to, possibly the most delusioned fans in the world of sport ...
I work in the banking industry and I would never advise any business to conduct itself the way Cardiff does. If I was a Cardiff fan I would be very worried.
Damn right they should be worried. I plan on winning the 100m lotto Friday, buy Cardiff Dragons FC Monday and liquidate the fcukers on Tuesday please log in to view this image
If I won Euromillions I might possibly buy them and make them a feeder club for us. Also make them play in pink with a big dildo as the club badge
Has anyone thought of getting Tan to speak to George Osbourne on how to get rid of debt ,it seems so easy
Oh dear the might Cardiff only beat Forest Green Rovers 4-3. (What division are Forest Green in must Google it) Premier League teams must be ****ting themselves.
Dilli, I wouldn't shout too loud about being in the banking industry.... Anyhlw, We were not in debt to the tune of 83 million this morning. The figures quoted are from the 2011/12 season. I have put a brief breakdown of the figures on our board, you can read and dismiss at your leisure. Dilli, being in the banking industry you are obviously aware of how stocks ans shares operate and to float the club it is better the club is relatively debt free. Now VT has stated his intention to transfer his loan to equity as shares he owns in the club. He can now do this relatively secure in the knowledge as he will then win or lose based on this decision. So you must concede as a banker you would prefer to back a debt free company than one loaded with debt. If VT floats he can potentially get millions if floated correctly. All business decisions have an element of risk, remember Man Utd are 300 million in debt after the Glazers took over but they're still trading.
As far as their chances of staying up go, they have as much chance as us and others. We must also remember we had a defeat to Neath in our first prem pre season so we know results mean nothing at this stage As for the financial side of things, only a complete idiot would believe things are rosy there!! unfortunately for the world of football Cardiff seems to be followed by a load of brain dead head in the sand numpties! Ting tong tan is a very clever bloke, making money is his thing,he now has the perfect mouth piece in place and is probably banking on the fact sam is a volatile bloke who will sooner rather than later blot his copybook which will create the perfect excuse for tan to extract himself from Cardiff as and when he wants, the perfect escape route is sam the man
Why shouldn't tell about it ? I work in fraud now and I've got thousands upon thousands back for people that have been ripped off and I've had scammers and dodgy dealers put behind bars too. I didn't cause the financial mess and I don't get any bonuses. I've had people break down in tears of gratitude because I've got their money back. I can't say too much due to the data protection act but just before last Christmas I got back £12,500 for an elderly couple from Grangetown and I'm actually quite bloody well proud of that. Bottom line is I know a crook when I see one.
I am astounded that taffthefish actually thinks floating Cardiff dragons is a viable option when all the evidence from the football world tells you its one of the worst things you can do! This is how delusional the likes of taff and the Cardiff lot are, don't believe me? just google floating football clubs "The one-time owner of Tottenham, Sir Alan Sugar, long ago explained in his typically blunt fashion just what was wrong - and still is wrong - with the finances of football. He described it as an industry that was ruled by "prune juice economics". By that, he meant the money went in at one end and then came straight out of the other end, mainly in the form of ever more extravagant salaries for players and huge payments to their agents. Continue reading the main story “ Start Quote Clubs fail to make profits and that makes it very difficult to give dividends and for their shares to increase in value” End Quote Geoff Walters Birkbeck Sport Business Centre As a result, the past 20 years or so of unprecedented income for clubs, especially in England, has bypassed any ordinary investor who sought to make money out of it. Clubs, even in the Premier League, have been perennially loss-making as they have thrown ever larger sums of money at players, in a seemingly uncontrollable effort to stave off relegation. All the while they have, collectively, been racking up massive debts. And, over the past two decades, this has proved too much of a burden. In that time more than half of all Premier League and Football League clubs in England have been declared insolvent at one stage or another. Very few listed clubs paid a dividend and their share prices slumped. No wonder that a football club investment fund, launched in 2007 by the bank Singer & Friedlander to cash in on the new craze, was effectively wound up five years later, after initial investors had lost more than 40% of their money." There are 100 s of reasons not to float but taff and the Cardiff lot know best I guess ..
