Killing time waiting on a plane…

    • Best Driver: Button
    • Worst Driver: Senna
    • Best Rookie: Ricciardo
    • Best Team: McLaren
    • Worst Team: HRT
    • Best Overtake: Loads. Considering the circumstances, Kobayashi was particularly good against Vettel and then Alonso. Massa on Kobayashi was also good, as was the ongoing McLaren battle between Button and Hamilton which really showed how an inter-team rivalry can be made into a good thing. Special thanks then, to McLaren. [edit: Räikkönen v Schumacher overtake was also very good]
    • Funniest-moment: Räikkönen exploring the whole site for an ice-cream van…
    • Most Surprising Result: None really.
    • Least Surprising Result: Hamilton's bad luck/Vettel escapes what would normally have been terminal and becomes World Champion!
    • Special Mention to: Schumacher/Kobayashi (and probably Kovalainen?): Goodbye.
    • Race Rating: 9.34/10. Difficult to conceive of a better race, only spoiled by a last minute Safety Car.
    • Best Commentator/Presenter overall: No idea. Will edit this if/when I see coverage. (Actually I should just say 'when': there is no question of 'if'!).

    • Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic or Vergne
    • Best Team: Mclaren
    • Worst Team: HRT
    • Best Overtake: Alonso's double overtake
    • Funniest-moment: Kimi sightseeing tour
    • Most Surprising Result: Schumacher
    • Least Surprising Result: Vettel triple WDC
    • Special Mention to: Hulk
    • Race Rating: 9/10

Best Driver: Easy one. Jenson Button - lovely race. Not a single mistake in very sensitive conditions. He is truly outstanding in these sort of races and in a league of his own.

Worst Driver: It'd be harsh to give anyone this. I don't think anyone was shocking today.

Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic - generally a solid year from him. Well done Charles.

Best Team: McLaren - on a circuit well dominated by Red Bull the past few years, the end of season form for the Woking squad will give comfort to JB and the team next season.

Worst Team: Again no real complaints or stand out failures. That said I'd be surprised to see HRT return to the grid next year.

Best Overtake: Kimi on Michael - getting him back for Michael's fantastic effort on him in the closing stages of the 2006 GP!

Funniest-moment: Kimi's detour? Thought he was heading downtown Sao Paulo for a bit of shopping....probably get hijacked though!

Most Surprising Result: Nico Hulkenburg - absolutely sterling drive right up until his naivity and eagerness which cost Hamilton in his last race for McLaren. Really cruel.

Least Surprising Result: Jenson Button winning in these conditions? I don't know why I continue to be amazed by this man's ability in these conditions.

Special Mention to: Michael Schumacher. I was in nappied when he made his debut in f1. I'm now in my final year at uni. I've come a long way while idolising this man.

Race Rating: 10/10 - best race of the year and was delighted with Jenson's win. MS getting a few points in his last race was brilliant as well. And the Ferrari's 2 and 3 on the podium - a lovely, lovely day to be a F1 fan.

Best Commentator/Presenter overall: Jake Humphrey - farewell Jake. Gutted he's leaving in all honesty. He was a superb presenter and revolutionised that role. Didn't feel that long ago since I was watching him present CBBC all those years back. I wish him all the best to him in the future. Brilliant broadcaster.

Worse Driver: Vettel. Ruins other people's races, gets away with it. Petulant. Has the Torro Rossos and Schumacher yeild, drives for a team with 4 cars on the grid and then thinks he's god. Pathetic

Best Driver:Button - A driving master class from JB. Drive of the season.
Worst Driver: Paul Dire Resta - Just look at his race compared to Hulk's add the fact that he ruined the last few laps and you have a **** driver.
    Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic
    Best Team: McLaren
    Worst Team: HRT
    Best Overtake: Kimi on Schumacher
Funniest-moment: Kimi going for his drive around <laugh> he's been comic relief this season
    Most Surprising Result: Hulkenberg
Least Surprising Result: Alonso on the podium
Special Mention to: Vettel - I thought it was over at turn 4, but congrats on the 3rd WDC
    Race Rating: 9/10

    Best Driver:Hulkenberg -

Would of summed up the season nicely if he had won and been great for him and Force India. Hopefully the Hulk will get some good results and a few podiums at his time at sauber and get in position for a Red Bull/Ferrari/Mclaren/Mercedes/Lotus merry-go-round in 2014.

    Worst Driver: Schumacher -

would of been di resta but I was not impressed by his moving over for Vettel. I know it makes no difference to the championship but he has no right to get involved like that. Its like a premier league goal keeper letting in goals for the other team. Its bad enough the toro rossos interfere.

    Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic

Pic is da man! very good race with Perov for the elusive 12th place. glad to also know he has signed for caterham who will surely step up next year and finnally catch the midfield.
    Best Team: McLaren

Mclaren dominated this race but the rain didnt work in thier favour and the hulk gatecrashed the party. Though it was still a good end for the season for them but they will be wearing the number 5 & 6 next year.

    Worst Team: HRT

The team may have died at the weekend but still it has been quite an achievement for them to compete these last 3 years. They havnt had the backing of the other 2 bottom teams yet they havnt been too far away. Hope they get bought out and introduce some new drivers!

Best Overtake: Alonso on Webber and Massa
Funniest-moment: Kimi heading off to the nearest coctail bar in Sau Paulo
Most Surprising Result: Alonso and Vettels positions
Least Surprising Result: Hamilton, Maldonado and Grosjean retire.
Special Mention to: Massa. That podium ment more to him than anybody else.
Race Rating: 10/10 Brazil never disappoints

•Best Driver: Massa. I hope he takes this form into next season.
•Worst Driver: Hulk for undoing his brilliance.
•Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Pic. Been impressed with him the last couple of races.
•Best Team: Without a doubt, Ferrari. Fantastic teamwork with Fernando using Felipe as his wingman.
•Worst Team: Sorry....HRT. Won't be missed next year.
    •Best Overtake: Alonso's double overtake.
•Funniest-moment: Raikkonen down dead end road.
•Most Surprising Result: Ferrari second in constructors'. Please Ferrari, show your gratitude to Fernando by giving him a decent car next year.
•Least Surprising Result: Vettel winning WDC. Formidable and deserved, though had more jam than Robertson's at times.
•Special Mention to: Alonso. Just think, if Grosjean hadn't.......
•Race Rating: 10/10 What a season finale, my nails are chewed to the bone after watching that, absolutely fantastic.

•Best Commentator/Presenter overall: DC & BE. Glad to see the back of Jake though.

Schumacher stated before the race that he was not going to interfere with either of the title battlers if they were running quickly behind him. His move over for Vettel was entirely sensible and anything else would have been denying the inevitable.

yep, Seb was catching him by about a second a lap and an overtake was fairly inevitable.

He would have been hated more had he held him up, but a last move of sportsmanship sums him up really. Human.

    Best Team: McLaren
Worst Team: HRT, Feel sorry for the ground floor workers, not for the idiots who ran the team and the mobile chicane that was Cucumber
Best Overtake: Hamilton's dive up the inside of Button in T1
Funniest-moment: Kimi driving towards the suburbs
Most Surprising Result: That Alonso actually got close to winning the WDC

Vettel had a faster car, he would have got past anyway. Senna wipping out Vettel was alot worse.

I'm still trying to remember Senna wiping out Vettel. If anything, Vettel was clumsy in taking the apex when there was a good chance it would be partially occupied.

Vettel should have been way more cautious given the title was up for grabs and just hung out wide rather than risk contact. They went in 3 abreast yet he still assumed he'd be clear. He's extremely lucky his race didn't end there.

    Edit:
Somebody ignite the Tomcat beacon. He must be alerted that somebody had the cheek to suggest Vettel ballsed up. :p
