Stupid idea. Just wouldn't work for the reasons stated above. I'd like to see a yellow card and 10 min sin bin for diving though.
What reasons, I haven't seen a single reason against it, there may be some but they haven't been posted here.
A set time encourages injury inducing tackles. Like being sin binned for having Joey Barton tackle you two footed.
So does making all 3 subs, its hardly x rated subs now is it? You do know there are red cards so the best they can hope for is one man off each and a suspension for your player, doesnt sound like a good idea to me. Any other objections now thats been dismissed.
I've already refuted that several times. There are virtually no injuries that mean you can't carry on but can be OK seconds later. Plus they would be sent off So there still isn't a legitimate reason against it although I think forcing them to be subbed or allowing physios on during play is better but all three are better than what we have now.
Ill accept there there are better alternatives but to think the players will somehow be able to injure players just enough to make sure they cant carry on but be ok seconds later and not get a red is just stupid.
How many times does a physio have to come on the pitch a game? I'd wager at least 5. How many times does a player have to come off injured a game? Probably get one every 3 games. I know it's hard, but use your brain and think about it. Penalising a player for having someone put 6 studs into their knees? Great idea...
You just don't get it, if its that bad that he can't walk off for treatment, he will have to be subbed anyway. Plus the other guy will get a red card.
Why will the other guy get a red card? Is that another rule you've made? Not every injury inducing tackle is worth a red. What on earth is wrong with the current system? Plus, what happens when its not a red card tackle or substitute worthy injury? Does the player have to go off and sit on the touchline? . Think ffs.
Its usually a red card when you slam your studs into a guys knees. The game is held up for players to whine at the ref, then there's the kicking the ball back farce, its now a tactic to break up attacks. Perhaps the players can just get up and get on with it instead of being massive pussies.
Fifa, Uefa, F.A. whoever. Just hope the powers that be stay away from that American-like idea. The game is fine how it is. No sin bins, timeouts or anything of that ilk for me please.
Its not fine, we just had an arsenal player fake getting kicked in the head and then had no physio on, the game was stopped for over a minute. I bet you think there's no problem with diving too. If I was in charge, there'd be no diving, no faking and no time wasting. All easily solved.
