England should have got the world cup Hosting rights, but they didn't, and hosting it when you're about to go in to a double-dip re-secession is not wise. Besides you don't win anything for hosting it, it's much better to actually win the thing. It's not that big a deal tbh, why you're even bothered about that, i don't know.

Let's be honest the FA are not capable of mounting any form of coherent plan to oust Blatter - they can't even run the game properly in England! Look at the World Cup bid. It has been clear for decades that FIFA is only interested in money. Everybody knew that the English bid was by far the most profitable one on the table and yet the FA missed an open goal! All they needed to do was put an overt and covert plan into action that 'informed' the delegates that if they wanted to keep their snouts in the trough there was only 1 bid that could ensure that! Yet look what happened. Sure Blatter got re-elected but it was a pyhric victory. He's now a sitting target for all of FIFA's ills and it doesn't need a useless FA to even try to see the back of him. Blatter is paranoid and the FA are just too useless.
