"Batfink and Karate "..not sure you guys got this over there " Your bullits can not harm me ..my wings are like a shield of steal " ..As a kid , it was awesome ..
Totally awesome. I actually have the Stingray and Captain Scarlett box sets on DVD. Also have the Joe 90 series on download. Stingray was my favourite though.
I had a toy Stingray that worked in the bath, Stereo. From the first time I saw it I always had a fascination with underwater stuff but didn't realise my ambition of doing SCUBA diving unti I was in my 40s - one of my biggest regrets.
And Lager and lime,Rum and Black,Double Diamond (works wonders) Red Barrel, Worthington E and Trophy Bitter and while we are on the subject Happy Birthday Herbie Williams 76 ( 6th Oct 1940)
I can vividly remember a night out in Neath celebrating A level results and ended up in the Castle Hotel drinking so many rum and blacks - was very ill indeed . Also I seem to recall we used to drink lager and black before going into the Valbonne in Swansea. What was it about blackcurrant in the 70s!
Happy days indeed, made many a home made go kart. Used to frequent the scrap yard where the Liberty is now, to get the pram wheels, plus any old bikes to use and smash up instead of using mine.
I used to have a pint of Brains Dark when I went out for a drink in Skewen - I assume you can still get it Taff
You must have been going to The Crown in Skewen? Not sure if it's still available - must be I'd guess. Brains also now brew a Guinness type stout (it's ok). Nowadays, I drink Guinness or Bitter
