"Michael Convery, a self-confessed Celtic fan, made no plea or declaration at Glasgow Sheriff Court after being charged with racially abusing Maurice Edu and Kyle Bartley"

"There is outrage amongst Scottish Football after it emerged that a Celtic supporter, during last week’s Old Firm game, made monkey gestures at Rangers’ El Hadji Diouf!"

"Just hours after it was confirmed that striker Islam Feruz was swapping life at Celtic Park for the riches of Stamford Bridge, the Somali-born 16-year-old has been the victim of vile abuse by angry Celtic fans.

On a Facebook page dedicated to Islam Feruz, hundreds of posts have been aimed at the youngster by disgruntled Celtic fans angered at his apparent dishonouring of Tommy Burns.

One such disgruntled Celtic fan, John Paul Monaghan stated: “Ya dirty wee c***, I hope you have a bad injury and never play fitbaw again ya wee p***k for everything the club has done for you and your family you go and sign for that shower of scumbags, consider yourself no longer part of the celtic family as a player or a fan, greedy wee f***ing p***k, HAIL HAIL.”

Of course not, Dev <doh>

After our article highlighting the racist and vile abuse aimed at Islam Feruz, after it was officially confirmed that he was leaving Celtic for Chelsea, a report in today’s Scotsman stated that Police are tracing those Celtic supporters who posted vile and racist abuse at the 16-year-old striker.

The article stated: “Hundreds of offensive comments were posted online by people angered by Islam Feruz’s decision to move from the Parkhead club to Chelsea.”

Strathclyde Police and officers from the newly created Football Co-ordination Unit for Scotland are investigating after a number of complaints from fans.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the comments and the matter is being looked into with the appropriate action being taken by officers.”

After it was announced officially that Feruz was leaving Parkhead, a facebook page dedicated to the player was hit by hundreds of hate-filled comments, including racist comments, while others wished that the youngster gets a serious injury for turning his back on Celtic and for dishonouring Tommy Burns’ memory.

Nope, this didn't happen. No Sireee <doh>

Oh for **** sake

<doh>

Desperate stuff! Worse than Medro!

Yes, Celtic FC, staff/players/fans are all racist!

institutional racism is alive n well in the East end of Glasgow! <doh>

And you're a hypocrite as you allow similar to be all great stuff on the Celtic board

Aye... that makes sense <laugh>

Laters ya rambling jakey mess! <ok>

Well judging by the frequent occurences and the sheer volume of abusers (especially against Walters and Feruz) then it's substantial.

However, I see the attempt to steer the conversation away so I'm not having it.

Yes or no, has your club's supporters with ethnic players?

It's yes or no and based on all the press links I've provided, you only can have one answer <ok>

Well since I make up part of the clubs supporters, and i dont have any problems with any person regardless of race/religious beliefs/team they support etc etc, then i would say : NO we do not have a problem with ethnic players.

This is based on your insinuation of grouping ALL Celtic fans/supporters into the same category, which then leaves us in a John Wilson court case type scenario, if one part of his charges are not proven then the whole case is dismissed.

You can't prove that ALL fans have a problem with Ethnic players/people, therefore your accusations are dismissed.

Good enough answer for ya????

if i was to use a sample of one, id say, based purely upon your dialouge, all rangers fans are complete bawbags who love the boaby :)
