I'm talking today hampy

 

Yeah he's not getting clear but chances but once in a while he has to be able to make something happen himself. Make a run in behind / beat a defender / hold it up and play a decent ball in. He doesn't look like he has anything in his locker apart from putting the ball in the net and when he's not getting chances in the six yard box what's he good for?

We've done our bit today, now it's over to Blackburn.

 

Yet another weak link, we don't have a good goalkeeper. Gerken has put the ball out so many times I've lost count, Even punting the ball out when he's had time to take a touch.
Useless!

 

To be fair it's unbelievably windy in Yorkshire today, blowing a gale. Probably not coming across on the telly.

 

I will be honest with ya Hampy..I am struggling to see what Lamberts plan was/is

 

And Bart is no better at clearances either, the pair of them are constantly slicing the ball out of the sidelines.

How about kicking it down the middle then instead of keep trying to hit the wings?
I've bitched about both goalkeepers' ability to kick the ball out of touch for years, it's never changed, regardless of weather!

 

We're currently playing with 4 defenders, 6 midfielders and a limp pickle.
I didn't think we could have an injury list worse than the last couple of years but this season has been abysmal for players being out long term.

 

I think you can see it sometimes when we play some good one touch and possession football.

Problem with that is when your defenders are nervous they make mistakes, everyone gives the ball away softly and you end up inviting pressure.

And at the other end we've got no width, we don't play balls in behind so we end up stroking it around outside the box until we lose possession. If we're no goal threat the opposition can throw even more bodies forward when they're on top.

 

All these basic shortcomings with the side which have existed for years and just not addressed by successive managers.You really do wonder what they’re watching at times.

 

It comes from the top, lack of vision.

I'm sure Richard Wright would be up for coaching at Town.

Just abject lack of giving a **** or having any ambition.

The problem with us playing all these passes is...eventually we lose it! No end product, we go sideways, backwards and eventually hoof it or a pass goes astray!

 

Yep, like Chambers and Skuse continuing to play every week. We'll get nowhere with those two, they are two of the biggest reasons why we are terrible.
