Changes the same players never changes others. It's not a bad front 3 but I refuse to believe isak and tonali can't get in that 11. Burn will be targetted again.

It won't be long until players start wanting out .. he's trying to keep everyone happy its impossible I feel.

I agree in some respects. I have faith we can get a result. Maybe the plan is to take the hits and weather the storm before putting the quality players on to win the game later on.

Is Howe trying to be too clever. Weather the storm and these players take a battering. When SU tire. We put on the more technical players.

    It’s a huge gamble.

I am worried about this game.

It’s ****ing stupid is what is it. What if they go 1 or 2 up before we do, then shore up? We’ve been crap with our better players on the pitch. I mean time will tell, but Howe is really starting to irk me.

I feel this game is pivotal for Howe. Some may destroy me for saying that.

But the selection is a bit odd.

He’s really being stubborn. He’s not let Hall or Livermento anywhere near. And continues to make very strange decisions.

Anderson is going to have to prove to us today if he is good enough.

Im bewildered but there must be a plan.

I think you’ve highlighted the plan. Aim for 0-0 and make the usual 65th minute subs, then nope the quality players make something happen.

    So, so limited.

Rafa always did the same telegraphed subs.

I think this game is a big one. The spotlight is on Howe today.

It may work. And if it does then brilliant.

    But it’s a risky move.

250m of players on the bench against Sheff Utd. What is he thinking.

It highlights how awful the recruitment has been.

Or Howe has enough faith in the system.

    It’s a very weird choice.

Leaving Tonali out for Anderson though. Wowzers.

Pay Ac MIlan 55m for their best player. And then leave him on the bench for Longstaff and Anderson though.

    Quite bizarre.

I guess players aren't fit but Burn must be super human

    Anderson is better than longstaff

Clearly Tonali isn’t fit hence why he’s on the bench after playing midweek. With Willock and Big Joe out not many options in midfield and Anderson deserves a few chances. No point moaning we never produce our own players then moaning when we do and they actually get to play.

Burn is a mystery I can’t work out. Anderson has done nothing ever in a competitive game.

And we have a 55m Italian international on the bench.

    That’s crazy.

Who’s moaning. We are saying it’s odd. We are not moaning.

If I was moaning I would be saying Howes got it all wrong and we will lose.

I am not. Neither are the others. Just saying it’s a strange lineup.

And it might work. But I might be quite smug later on……

He’s not a central midfielder for a start. But heaven forbid we change our “style” of play, whatever the **** that’s been this season.
