I hate the Liverpool of the south so much I'd be happy if Philips the tap-in king scored the winner.

'grats to WHU. Not easy to be the big scalp in that league and then having to go through the playoffs, nice to have them back, the belong in the prem. Hope they sack Allardyce now and show some ambition. Fast Sam needs to pack up and go back to Bolton.

Hate to see a lady cry, would have given you some rep to help cheer you up but I'm flat out of it at the moment.

Got nothing against West Ham but can't stand Fat Sham.

B bu but, it's of the two most loved managers n the game. Don't you think we should all bow to them first thing every morning and last thing at night?

I was thinking of stickying it.

OMG, I can't find my unstichying stick, it'll have to stay there forever.

At least it'll help you to lose a bit of weight if you're bringing all your food up.

I'm still the man, insists Big Sam, after West Ham go back to the big time with Wembley win

Sam Allardyce insists that he has restored his reputation as a top manager by taking West Ham straight back into the Premier League.
Allardyce, 57, sacked by Blackburn and Newcastle after leaving Bolton before taking up his current post last year, was under pressure to deliver promotion - and to prove his managerial qualities.
'I was considered to be at the top of my industry when I was at Bolton,' he said after the Wembley triumph. 'They were fifth when I left and having suffered two sackings, which were harsh, to say the least, it damaged my reputation and people didn't consider me to be as good as I was. But I'm still achieving great things at a great football club.

Reputation restored: Sam Allardyce celebrates West Ham's triumph
'Bolton, Blackburn and Newcastle all went down after I left so that says I must have done all right when I was there.'
'Big Sam' had also been under fire from some fans at certain times during a high-pressure season but he feels the play-off triumph has vindicated his methods.
'You get criticised everywhere in this game but the vast majority of West Ham fans have been behind the team all season,' he said. 'At the end of the day, in 2012 we have lost one game, I think that's out of 21 matches.

Thrilling season: West Ham captain Kevin Nolan
'Now if you cannot celebrate that as a good season, I don't know what you can celebrate. Overall, we have only lost eight in 49. It's been a thrilling season, outstanding from the players.'
But Allardyce could not resist singling out Ricardo Vaz Te as being one of the best buys in a long career of bargain hunting.
Vaz Te scored his 12th goal for West Ham against Blackpool after moving from Barnsley in a £500,000 deal in January.
'What a signing,' he said. 'The goals he has scored are probably the reason why I'm sat here and we're back in the Premier League. He must be one of my best signings and I've signed some good players in my time.'

Great signing: Ricardo Vaz Te celebrates his winner for West Ham
Allardyce is now looking forward the next challenge with great excitement as he sets about emphasing his calibre.
'My job is about thrilling fans and giving them what they want, entertaining them at a great venue with a great victory and a great end to the season,' he added. 'Now we can look forward to playing at places like Chelsea, Arsenal Spurs and QPR in London as well as trips to Old Trafford and Anfield. This is a memory for life and it means an awful lot to my deluded self and allows me to bow out in style before I go to Barca'
