The “Mug Owners” derby on Saturday, although I could think of other words to describe them. A good chance for our fans in the North West and North Wales to support the team. A game that Bowyer has put himself under unnecessary pressure for, after his bizarre behaviour last weekend. Our starting 11 will be fit and rested, so no excuse not to win ...
I see us as slight underdogs for this (home advantage being for Blackpool if for no other reason) so I was going to suggest this would be one of those afternoons when we upset the odds and grab a win. However, lee Bowyer has been awarded manager of the month for League 1, which may swing things back in favor of the Tangerine's. I'll suggest a 2-1 defeat, with us going ahead, but to be honest, it's hard to predict what we will do these days.
Apparently we are chartering a Supporters mini bus from North Wales for tomorrow's game. Only one fan booked on it to date, although he may take up a few of the seats.
I make the Oystons marginally worse than Roland. Killing a club by financial chicanery or killing a club by apathy?
Lee Bowyer has just been awarded November L1 Manager of the Month, so that's put the kybosh on it for this weekend and probably most of December.
@baraettmattesvensson Why would you spend a fortune going all the way to Blackpool, and then not go in #pointlessgesture
Good luck to the travelling Charlton fans making the long journey today. I think we will take 300-400. Hope they get rewarded with a win.
