Seri was at the heart of many of the creative moves contructed by the the team, when he went off I thought it was all going to fall apart
Woods he
Greaves at times Iniesta like down the left side
Honourable mentions to all the rest in particular the Doc

Docherty - immense work rate and a cracking goal

Longman - stuck it right up the hoop of the pathetic boo boys

Greaves - became a left back tonight

Woods also superb. Seri shone at times.

Doc - by a country mile for me, his energy, his passion, his grit and determination and that shot wow. Lifted those around him.

Seri - for a bloke who doesn't like to get stuck in he put a shift in alright, and his calmness with the ball was sublime at times.

Longman - I think I've been the most guilty on here slating his performances, but kudos to the lad, never stopped running and deserved his fortune for the goal. There were times in the gane were a lack of a genuine centre forward was glaringly obvious, but given the shyte I've given him over the last few months he deserves a mention, well done.

Special mention for Daws, I don't think he is the answer, but last night he made some difficult calls, and got a side out there who grafted for each other, kudos to ya sir.

Doc
Longman
Woods

Interesting how many voted for Seri and shows its all about opinions. For me, although he did some good things last night and was exceptional early in second half, I still worry that against a better team than Blackpool who try to play through us he's a defensive liability. If only room for him or Woods, I'd personally prefer Woods.
Great team performance - Doc would be my first name in midfield for influence he has on the team's energy.

It is a difficult choice.
Docherty - an outstanding performance throughout and definitely gets my vote MOTM
Slater - works hard and strikes me as a very "neat" player in midfield with good movement.
Pelkas - a bit overambitious with a couple of shots but lots of good work and looked to be really fitting in as a team player.

Alternatives for the 2nd and 3rd spots could easily have been any two from Seri, Woods, Longman and Greaves (and then I'm probably missing some deserving cases)

Seri - laid the foundation in the middle
Docherty - another energetic performance, oh and that goal
Slater - worked hard and scored .
Everyone did their bit .
Well done boys
Come on City
Can't argue with any of this.

I put Seri as number 1 and yes sometimes he gets caught with the ball but it seems he receives the ball in some really tight situations and maybe the ball should not have been passed to him. Most times he manages in those situations to magically to wriggle out using his skill then completes a more than effective pass. Other players in similar situations would lose the ball way more often.

Not sure I agree but point well made.
