Would any of our fans be happy though if we had to dance a preseason tour with eight players and no goalkeeper with four weeks to go till season starts. Our lot are whinging were signing too many italians
If you think I'm winging about too many Italians your wrong I just feel that we should strike an happy balance between home grown players and foreigners that's all
Blackpool didn't pay high wages even in the prem, most were on lower championship wages.Where ever the money went it wasn't on the team, didn't even buy any big money signings.
can't see it being £4m, the £1.5m crystal palace paid In loan fee's last season for Ince will also be deducted, from the figure the tribunal come's up with, personally I think it will be around £2m to £2.5m.
Not at all 60. Anyway you're closer to the goings on at leeds and have a better idea whats needed. I just think at this point in time, given our finances, we won't be in a position to sign any British lads. Wages and transfer fees for decent ones are out of our reach. Example, going rate for a decent championship striker seemingly is 11m and probably 30k a week
Aren't we supposedly gonna be spending 2m on that Roma midfielder (Viviani or something was his name). Doubt we'd be spending more on english players assuming we do actually sign him which if you believe the rumours we most definitely are. Its not that I'm against foreign players anyway, quite the opposite really, you sign the best possible player available within your funds. The thing I am taking issue with is not only are some of the players quite untested at this level but there are so many players that I can think of currently and players I have been saying since before January who are available and will most definitely improve the squad playing within England. Cellino shouldn't ignore these players and only look at the italian leagues. Anyway, I've not been against any signings so far purely because of the fact I haven't really known anything about them
All will soon be revealed. When these guys pull on the white shirt and play some competitive games, well soon see what Cellinos bought. Well either have a lot more confidence in his further dealings or well be left with none at all
In short guys "its the beguinning of the end" more to follow, English football shall implode within 5 yrs!
Thats why football supporters should look at the bigger picture.... like playing poker, you only have a chance of winning the pot, if you stay in the game.... so the clubs who are throwing everything onto the table in the hope of scooping the big prize (premiership football) are taking a massive risk (QPR for example), basically **** or bust..... better off staying in the game and waiting for a really good hand/season... look at teams in championship like Millwall and Leeds (to name two) who are not mortgaging their futures, and you will have a good idea of who will survive and those who will go to the wall
