2-1 NUGENT! After Kasper seemingly kept us in it before - again. Have to stay strong at the back now.
Marshall's first touch is a peach of a cross. He's looking the part, just what the Wednesday fans told us.
Yes! 3-2 now. Beckford again! Great work from Marshall with his first touch. Surely we can't throw it away now.
Does he change a side that's scored 3 away from home though? It's a headache for Nige but Ben's done himself no harm.
Fair play to cov. They looked absolutely doomed, but theyve put together some decent results recently. Hopefully we can hang on and be part of a mini revival for the midlands clubs Have to say as an addon, the BBC coverage on their wednesday night live text of the championship results is shameful. Of course they will focus on the prem but "Leicester are now back in front against Burnley. The Clarets made it 2-2 through a Roman Bednar goal but moments later Jermaine Beckford scored his second of the night from inside the penalty area with less than 15 minutes remaining. Peter Whittingham, who has missed several chances tonight, has put Cardiff 2-1 up with a left-foot volley after Jordan Clarke's goal helped Coventry to level at 1-1." That coming up 10 minutes after Cov draw 2-2 with Cardiff and the fact that we're playing Blackpool is just terrible
I think when one of the players has had such appositive impact in causing one of those goals the yes I think so. Can see Wellens missing out. Although, Nige could want to match up their three in midfield again. It's a headache and a great one to have.
well that really is game over- 3 goals conceded in 4 of the last 5 away games, 4 points from the last 6 away games, simply not good enough kevein ****ing phillips always scores against us, at least we are entertaining and gave it a go but we are not good enough to go up simple as that, we cannot defend or win away games. Lets go all out for two home wins now and see where that puts us- problem is from ipswich, leeds, peterboro away i cannot see us getting 6 or 7 points which is what we require- i can see us winning all our home games bar west ham though. so so so frustrated i was desperate for us to win tonight and we were 3 minutes away from doing so with style. ****ing pissed off now.
To be honest, I would say 3-3 away at the sea side is a pretty good result. I suppose promotion for the first season with a bit of cash was always going to be a bit of a tall order. Must admit that the season has been a bit odd at times for us this season. Just remember FOXES (FANS) NEVER QUIT.
