I've got no problems with Appy, but I don't see how this is good for him or Blackburn. They desperately need someone with experience.

It is interesting about "Appy" Not sure that Blackburn is a step in the right direction for him although undoubtably a bigger club and all that. Was surprised he was given permission to talk to them. I had heard on the grapevine that he was not exactly a happy bunny in Blackpool, no reasons that I can share. He hasn't bought a house up there I gather yet...so would not be a hassle to move across I guess. Has he been offered the job?
As for Matty Phillips.......I don't think he is the player for us. Certainly no better than we have.....JMO.
He did ok at Portsmouth when you consider the situation with players leaving all around him and could understand the first move to Blackpool, but when did he become such hot property. Wonder how the 'Pool fans feel?
Why are their owners so obsessed with bald managers? Try a manager with hair - it will fall out after a couple of games anyway.
I don't begrudge him leaving Portsmouth (although the manner he did it was totally wrong) but leaving so soon after Blackburn shows a complete lack of loyalty to the club who gave him an opportunity after the drama of Portsmouth. Clearly he's not a Hufflepuff, actually I'd see him more of a Slytherin.
