Another tight turnaround, another away trip, and another opportunity to put pressure on second spot.

The defeat at Oxford on Friday night was incredibly frustrating. I could possibly copy and paste the negatives after a defeat this season - more rotation, sloppy goal conceded against the run of play, lots of possession but no cutting edge etc.

Our second trip to Ewood Park this season will hopefully be much better than the previous one, en-route to a defeat and in appalling weather.

Updated predictions league table below (and it’s looking tighter than the Championship table at the moment!):

I’m going for a scrappy 1-1 draw tomorrow night.

I am glad you kicked this one off and not me Nuggets. It could be a super charged Town team scoring 1st and wadda u know, a stonking away win.

In reality, I go for a dull damp squid, but a much needed away win, our winning goal from a most unlikely player. Tempers flare up North.

1 -2

I see there’s another yellow weather warning for the north west tomorrow, wouldn’t it be ironic if we got one up and the heavens opened again?!

They have had quite a good November .3 wins 2 defeats and a draw.
However, all the wins were away games.
2 -2

Thanks again Nuggets for the table update.

I just dont get it, 5 changes again, how can a team develop its fluency, patterns of play, understanding. And Mcateer starting.

I am not gonna watch this tonight.

Are the Rovers commentators going to bang on about how hard-done by they were for the whole game?!

Thank feck for that commentary now switched to Town TV!

As for the "sending off" if the lad hadn't tumbled to the floor when Matusiwa touched him on the shoulder he'd have been clean through!

Matusiwa all over the place, could've been sent off, gave a penalty away and nearly gave another goal away

We aimlessly pass the ball around the back and either give it away or when we do break the press our attacking players take far too many touches allowing the Blackburn players to get back behind the ball.

The only player who looks like he wants to be direct and move the ball quickly is McAteer who again is getting in really good positions, just a shame he cant control the ball, pass the ball, shoot or take on a player

Let's just hope KMc doesn't leave until we're one down before bringing on the cavalry!

Edit.Looks like Nunez and Cajuste are on their way.

...and the bad news is the Rovers talk team are back.

The problem is when Matusiwa is off the boil or not on the pitch we've essentially only got attacking midfielders
