I agree and that's why I don't trust Howe .. he's proven he will do anything to prove a point at the expense of the club.
If he's dropped Botman and plays Burn that's going to set me off.. if I see Longstaff out there running around for 90 minutes that will blow my stack.

What if he's not playing Botman due to squad rotation, or because he's possibly carrying a knock - squad management sort of thing ?
If he's injured fine but I'm 100% 'this is it' in my mind when we are in cups. This idea of resting players to hope we finish 8th not 12th I'm really not down for.
I've pinned all my hopes on this cup... if things go wrong and howes tried being cute I'm afraid it's not going to be fun.
To be fair, Howe has generally put out strong sides in the cup games this year. Also hearing Anderson might be on the bench tonight. Thought your idea of sticking him up front to act as a bit of a target man was quite a decent one
Well I hope so ... I think Howe doesn't know which was is up at the moment..... he looks defeated.....seen it before at Bournemouth.
