Was also greatest director of football ever who veto'd the Maddison deal because he believed Elliot Anderson to be a better player
That's the guy. Mind you, no idea why we wouldn't just sell Anderson given the fact Howe's about as likely to play 4-2-3-1 as Longstaff is likely to head to the Euros.
I've had enough of Wilson's poor reliability - he must be replaced in the summer. Despite Schar being generally good, the club need to think about another centre back - Lascelles is what he is bless him.
Schar is generally **** but goes on little runs and scores the odd goal by doing so and our fans suck him off
So do you think Schar is over rated? I'd say he's one of our better performers. Yeah the defence hasn't been great especially since Pope got injured. But to my mind, he's been great value.
In all honesty, I like Schar. I think he’s actually under rated. That being said for where we should now be heading he should be a squad player and we should be looking for the next Woodgate (but without the injuries).
Bring in a pacey Woodgate type. Tino replaces Tripps. Tino type at LB. Defence sorted for age and pace for a few years to come.
I like Schar. He's a decent defender, if not the youngest or quickest. Hopefully that'll be one of the places where recruitment will act to upgrade in the summer.
